Have an old flat screen that needs to be put to rest. What are my recycling options?

Baby Tac said to buy a new TV, put the old one in that box and then return the old TV in the new box. Two birds, one stone.
Do you have a job? Every time I turn around you're posting some bullshite.

My grandpappy called it a Frigidaire. And he called a couch a davenport.

Gracias. Twisted hot and neutral together, connected ground, machine is running, just ordered new harness and lid switch. My wife is very impressed right now with my electrical skills.

remove the old harness and connect the wires

Just connect the hot to neutral, correct? Leave the ground wire loose?

Whirlpool washer lid switch melted

Posted by Towelie on 6/30/26 at 9:10 am
Last night I told my wife to do the laundry. Shortly after starting a wash cycle there was a burning plastic smell. I pulled the power and opened it up and the wiring harness connector at the lid switch was starting to melt.
What would cause it to suddenly melt?
If I get a new lid switch and splice in a new connector will it happen again?
Is there any way to bypass the melted switch so I can finish the wash cycle?

I was 21 when the towers came down and this thread title doesn't bother me in any way.

I love when people create an account just to ask a random question.

You've obviously never tried it. A hero dose is the most spiritual experience I've ever had. I think anyone who's ever taken a hero dose will fully agree.

It will show you the path, you still have to walk it. The best way to describe it for me is, mushrooms let me see the Matrix. What you choose to do with it is up to you.
