I was there. The energy in that building was amazing. When Gleason blocked the punt that place exploded. A top 5 experience in my life.

You frequently hit higher lofted clubs and give up distance for predictability and playability. You also hit lower chip and pitch shots rather than anything in the air.
That's how I play. No more than 3/4 swing with every club, smooth and easy. I'll choose a choked down, smooth 7 iron over a full 9 if the situation allows. When I try to get after it I end up hitting it fat or a nasty shank most of the time. It's made hitting driver almost easy sometimes. It might only go 250ish but it'll be playable.

I remember my alarm clock radio went off and I hear "a plane has crashed into one of the trade center buildings" and hit snooze, still half asleep, next time alarm goes off and I hear it again WTF? Get up and walk into the living room and my mom is sitting on the couch watching TV with my best friend. Another WTF. Right as I walked out the second plane hit. WTF!

One of my best friends is/was a lineman. He's done well for himself.
Worked a shite ton of hours in his 20s and 30s to get there. He pulled down close to 250k in some of his best years. He told me could've moved out to Cali to rebuild infrastructure after the fires and really made bank. He took a paycut and moved up to management after he had kids though.
If your boy isn't afraid to work he can set himself up for a comfortable life.
