Aggressor guy got what he deserved but Rat Guy just uninvited himself to any other guy outing with that group.
Rat guy will try to jump at the new opportunity only to learn the girl is "too damaged to think about that stuff" and thus he fails his ultimate conquest and lost his bros in the process.

I stayed out of it aside from saying "what a fricking snitch" as she told me the story. None are friends and the girl is friend of the girl I'm dating, which is why she told me the story.

Dumped BF is POS for cheating/attempting to cheat. But regardless, you don't snitch on your bro. The snitch broke the guy code. But he was also breaking another guy code by trying to get in the pants of a bro's GF.
