I was referring to posters saying "get better friends", obviously. Neither of the guys is remotely considered a friend and the girl is a friend of a friend.

Then why make the post in the first place? It doesn't affect you in that case.

The dude shouldn't have been trying to hook up but that's on him

The other guy shouldn't have snitched. If he had an issue with it and was a man he would confront the bf and call him out.

As a general rule, its best if people just mind their own fricking buisness

First of all, nonguy tries for 'years' to get in a girls pants unless (a) he's been successful once or twice already or (b) he's completely pathetic and obsessed in an unhealthy way

I would have slapped my friend around for being a cheating bitch, but I wouldn't have told her. If there were instances beforehand, she is the retard that keeps taking him back.

I stay out of my guy friends affairs. Unless they come to me for some sort of advice, I just tend to say, do what you want man.

Ok, what if you know of a wife who is stepping out on her husband? Do you let him live on blissfully unaware of the fact that guy/guys are banging his wife?

Guy who snitched did it in an idiotic, counterproductive way.

yes, STFU. You won't get credit for telling him the truth. You will get blamed for running your mouth. Let the guy figure it out on his own. If he asks your opinion, be honest. Otherwise, leave it alone.

For me, it's more I mind my own fricking business at all times. I never have and never will get involved in anyone's relationship.

Yup. I'm already in a relationship, I can't handle dealing with 2. His fault he's too dumb to figure it out.

Guys going on trips together should expect such treachery. They smile in your face, all the time they want to take your place. Catch tune from back in the day

A. The guy who ratted his "buddy" out in an a-hole.

B. Your job now is to stay neutral. The cheater and the snitch are going to cancel themselves out. Both will eventually be off-limits to her for various reasons. Nevertheless, she's now going to be very lonely having just kicked her cheating live-in boyfriend out the house. At some point soon she's going to be looking for some dude's pud for comfort. She's not going to want some jerk-off like her ex-boyfriend, and she's not going to want some tattle-tale pussy who ratted out his friend just for an opportunity to get in her pants. Who's left? The nice guy on the lake trip who really doesn't have a dog in the fight, but understands her being upset and is happy to listen to her talk about it (even if you really aren't). Ultimately your opinion is that BOTH guys suck. Be polite, kind, and understanding and you eventually become the nice, non-threatening third-party who she might feel like blowing after a night of too much wine. If not, then you're no worse for wear and you now have a friend who likely has other hot friends!
