I took a weekend vacation to Natchez like ten years ago. Didn't love fat mamas it wasn't bad but I've had better tamales. And the margaritas were like the ones from a daiquiri shop. Just a simple mix.

Our car group did a tour this past weekend with a stop at Cajun Catfish near Ville Platte. I thought the food was pretty good and heard no complaints from the foodies.
Boring? I don’t know about that. We weren’t there long enough to form an opinion.

--Nemo's in Escalante,UT- great burger and shake
- Hell's Backbone Grill in Boulder,UT- nice sir down restaurant in incredible setting, very good chef
-Chick's Cafe in Heber City, UT- wonderful breakfast, best country ham I've had
- any of the raspberry shake places in Garden City, UT near Bear Lake in July and Aug
-Hollis Seafood Buffet in Spearsville,LA- much of the buffet is average but they do fried seafood very well
- good earlier mention on Catfish inn in Quitman, was really good many many years ago, hope it's still good

L&J Cafe in ElPaso, TX and Minnie’s Montana Cafe in Thompson Falls, MT. Fantastic food and great local vibe in each spot.
