I like Luigi’s in Arcadia. Good home cooking type lunch specials, and an Italian menu. The prices aren’t bad either.

Jones BBQ in Marianna AR.

Pulled pork sandwich on white bread with slaw. You can buy the pork by the lb or the sauce by the quart or get it on a sandwich. That’s it.

When he sells out…. He closes up shop. He has a James Beard on the wall. The Ol boy is old…. Not sure how much longer that joint will be around.

We have a couple of their restaurants in NWA. Haven't been yet though. That good huh...

The franchises aren't even close to the original

I think just the whole scene adds to how good it is

The cafe in Kentwood is also very good.

They have “steak night” once or twice a week now. I haven’t tried it yet, myself, but those I’ve talked to say it’s top-notch. Often a wait time to get a table, and that just doesn’t happen in Kentwood.

Not there anymore but Lone Oak Grocery (gas station) in Prairieville. Their Lone Oak Special burger was incredible!
