Yeah, I think many of us can relate to family, drama, and dad yelling

If cattle cause so much green house gas emissions, then aren't meat eaters doing more for the planet by killing and eating the cows?

I think their argument is that if everyone bands together and becomes a vegetarian, then there will be no more demand for beef. Thus putting millions of cattle farmers out of a job, and still not saving the environment because Asians couldn't give less of a frick if you were viewing it under a microscope

thought it took a ton of energy to grow crops. Not to mention all the pesticide sprayed and water waste.

I don’t really care about any of this argument but to be fair a very very large portion of crops grown in this country go towards feeding animals.

Most of the corn grown around where I live goes to chicken houses in Mississippi for instance.

So that’s really not a valid argument in either direction.

I clicked on this thread thinking I would see an elaborate and fascinating story of great length.....something that would rival one of TulaneLSU’s posts.

One topping pizza? Sounds trashy.

Typically the more liberal a university is, the better the education.
So UC Santa Cruz, Bryn Mawr, Bard, Sarah Lawrence and Pace are better than Stanford, Vanderbilt, Rice, and Dartmouth? Your statement is silly.

As a general rule, yes

As a general rule, you may be correct. However, I work with a guy (vegan) who is very conservative and was cheerful when Trump won the election. I have a close family member who is vegetarian and pretty hard-core right. I admire the discipline that someone must have to be vegetarian.

It takes discipline if they are on a diet to be healthy, lose weight, or otherwise are not supposed to eat meat. Most vegetarians I know are not eating meat because they can’t stand the thought of eating an animal, so that takes very little discipline at all. It’s not like they are craving a juicy beef burger but choosing the portabella instead, the beef was never even considered.

Natural progression. When your brother finally learns how the world works and eventually starts paying taxes, he will naturally come to the god given conclusion of being conservative.

It may come sooner Saint. When the vegetarian girl he is banging dumps him, he will drown his sorrows in ribeyes.

My brother got him an “impossible burger” without telling him. My dad ate the whole thing.

But they used gas to cook it and diesel powered tractors were used to harvest all the stuff that went on it.

Wait for your little brother to go to the bathroom and barge in and frick him up.
