My wife was at a convenience store to get gas and the pumps were blocked by cars obviously not getting gas. She went in said whoever is blocking the pumps needs to move. They did. The store owner came out and offered her a manager job…..haha.

Given the low profit margins on gas I think they turn the pump speed down to make you want to go in and get something to drink. This reason and the original aggrivations posted above is why I pump gas at Costco or Sam's. 20G tank is full and I'm in and out in less than 5 mins.

Bucees is notorious for this.
Don't they sort of intend for you to do it? They have like 100 pumps, after all.

I never have this problem in Texas. Not saying people don’t do this (I do all the time), but i also can’t remember the last time I had to form a line and wait on a gas pump either.
You been to a Buc-ee’s lately? 100 damn pumps and they all occupied.

Observation about that picture. Looks like she’s a leftie from which arm she wears her watch on. But that’s obviously a right hand draw config.

Rant warranted—Welcome to every fricking Buccee’s on earth, except add 45 minutes to your wait time. I don’t give a shite if you can eat thanksgiving dinner under the urinals, not worth it, daddy needs gasoline—now.

Subtle "I live close to a Bucee's" brag.
Steers and queers...

This s what every gas station panhandler should see when they approach an attractive woman filling up.

I love people with this attitude.
I had to run in to get the gas receipt and after waiting in line I came out to my car with some guy wanting to act like an a-hole to me. At first he was loud and obnoxious with extra loud shouts at me. I’m 6’5” and 270, and as I got closer he looked to be around 5’8 or shorter. I didn’t say a word to him, but I walked behind his car to take a pic of his license plate. He asked what I thought was doing, and I said I’m taking a pic of his plate and calling the police to come out here right now.
You’ve never seen a short guy jump in his truck so fast and drive off. Maybe he had a record or maybe not, but he didn’t want to be there if/when the police arrived.
The best reaction to someone like this is to not escalate the situation by getting into a shouting match.

Wonderful. I'm OK cause I get a Diet Dr. Pepper with my Moon pie. Don't you hate it when they are going toward stale.
Best one I ever had was tossed to me from a Mardi Gras float in Orange Beach.

I hate it when cars block the only available diesel pump and there are other gas pumps that are not occupied.
