That bridge needs convoys as well in dense fog. Too many slap dicks out there that will still do 80+ with no lights on which makes them bigger assholes because pretty much all vehicles in the past 10 years have auto head lights

More likely some dumbfrick(s) trying to drive 90mph like it is a blue clear day. People are idiots and it gets worse every single day.

Cell phone users while driving are worse than drunk drivers.

I don’t travel that route much anymore but living in Ponchatoula I have made that run a ton. If it is rainy or foggy my arse is going on the Low Road.

Who are you going to blame? Tell me, I want to know? That is what is wrong with ppl in this state too many want to file suit over anything. Is it any wonder why we had the worst insurance rate in the nation.

Don’t take my point as vouching for the absolute legitimacy for such a thing.

Drivers are required to exercise extra caution when driving in extreme weather conditions such as this. For example, driving too close the vehicle in front of you would not be smart. If you do not exercise the care required, then you may be considered negligent under the circumstances. Someone did something wrong to cause this pileup. Unfortunately, for those who may have been driving too close to the vehicle in front of them and striking it may be somewhat out of luck as well. The facts will sort it out, but the fog didn't cause it. Human error did.

You are correct in this statement. But that is also why you are not correct in your stance that nobody can be held responsible and sued.
Someone will be getting sued and someone’s insurance will be paying.
With the deaths and all of these injuries it’s just a fact.

Dont matter why but if you rear end somebody you are at fault
Rain fog or asteroid, you have to keep a safe distance for the conditions
