I know everyone likes to bag on Walmart, but they were VERY generous ro my son when he was working on his Eagle scout project.

I watched some woman squat and change her tampon in the middle of the clothing racks. To her credit she threw the used one away in the nearby garbage.

Not anything really gross or messed up, but I remember one time I was in the checkout line and the person in front of me had two items in their basket - a replica WWE championship belt and a six pack of Bud Light - and I was l I have to take a picture of this because this picture epitomizes Walmart.

I was trying to get a bicycle off of a rack and it fell on me. I was laid out. There was a guy who did noting but stare at me.

Once saw BRPD taser a disgruntled customer in front of the service desk at Cortana Walmart. It was entertaining and brought on cheers from the crowd.

Saw the Sherriff's department get called out one time to look for a guy they couldn't find.
evidently, he made some sort of temporary shelter in the middle of the aisles. looked pretty clever, he pulled boxes out on either side of the aisle, and was hiding in the middle of the rack. someone found him when he was smoking cigs in his hideout...

Walmart, in general, is disgusting. I used to go about 2 times per year. The carts stacked up with food, including perishables, that shoppers tossed aside and wondering if they were going to re-shelf it. The people shopping there are mostly gross. Although, I did stop by the one in Picayune once. It was ok. Mostly old people. Not trashy. I have non/perishables delivered and go to grocery for those and meat.
WM removing ammo is messed up. The good days were when one could grab a box of Perfecta 9mm for $10.

I honestly don't remember the last time I stepped foot inside one. On vacations, we have done a few pickup orders but as far as walking in, it's easily been since before COVID.

Was at a Walmart that was swatted. I was nearly done with a big stock up shopping trip. From the chicken section I heard someone yelling to get out. It was a Walmart employee lady and she was bravely informing people what was reportedly going on.
Some old lady was nearby and I figured I’m not running out and leaving her behind. Then she saw the rush of people and cranked it into overdrive and was actually pretty spry.
I really didn’t want to leave my full cart after spending an hour stocking up. Didn’t see any smoke or definitely didn’t hear any gunshots, so it was a tough decision. Also I was eyeing the back room entrance knowing there has to be an exit back there.
I looked at all the empty registers at self check out and it was very tempting.
Nah, it was time to go. Most of the shoppers were gone so I jogged towards the exit but turned it up as I entered the big open area by the exit. Cops came running in with rifles and shotguns. They didn’t look twice at me, I told them I didn’t hear any shots but continued toward the exit, but an older cop was crouched in the entrance and he yelled at me for running. Not a very comforting thought that I’d get blasted by some scared cop.
It was all for nothing. Someone called in a shooting saying a disgruntled employee was shooting other employees.
I waited to see if I could get back in to buy my stuff but there had to be 100 cops surrounding the place. They even had fire trucks blocking the exits from the parking lot. It was pretty messed up.

I was in the checkout line and the lady in front of me had a toddler horse playing. Mama kept telling him “stop playing.” After the third time he turned around and said “frick yo…” The “u” never made it out of his mouth. Mama cocked her had like she was swinging Mjolnir and smacked him across the face. She told him “Don’t you ever say that to me again.”
Little guy didn’t even cry. But he quit playing and stood completely still. I was impressed.
