The solution shouldn’t be worse than the problem.
Tanking the economy for the next decade isn’t worth saving 0.6% of the population.
I’m convinced that the infected numbers would skyrocket if they tested every single person in the country. Drastically increasing the infected numbers, which would drastically decrease the current death ratio.

You get rid of the "worthless" for the betterment of society.
As far as I know, everyone has a right to live. Nobody has q right to money or work.

Just saying.
Would you offer yourself up for bankruptcy for someone else's health?

Why is it so wrong to disagree with being overly cautious here?
I've saying this for weeks. In today's environment, VERY FEW people are willing to state an opinion opposing the narrative because it will likely destroy them professionally. Can you imagine the leader of any decent sized company publicly questioning the stay-at-home orders? He would be castigated on Facebook, Reddit, basically everywhere. He would be ostracized, his company would boycotted, and even people who agree won't stand up for him. Why would anyone in their right mind stick their neck out in this self-censoring environment? There's no upside.

Are people actually still afraid of this virus?

No specific right to money or work. BUT, we do have a fundamental right of liberty -- which is the ability to work and make money. THAT is being deprived for a very small few.

But see, your argument here is incorrect. No one is recommending we get rid of anyone. The recommendation is simply we don't stop the strong because of the weak. Hell no one is even arguing we should not slow down the strong or that the strong shouldn't help the weak. In fact, most argue for both of those.
The argument is simply that the 0.2% of citizens that are the weakest should not be those that determine the path of the other 99.8%.

That depends on how you define liberty and/or the pursuit of happiness.
What if I want to work and have money?

I would argue that the western world being ordered to stay isolated in their houses and avoid social contact with others while society sinks into self-imposed economic and psychological wasteland is pretty dystopian.

And the only people that will speak up are ones with "f you money" that don't need anything more from government (permitting, licenses, etc.)

We literally fought a war to make slavery illegal and boomers and women have brought slavery back by forcing us healthy millennials to work every day but not even be able to go to the gym or bar after
The virus is literally Gym Crow

So we are gonna take away the last two of 98-99% of the population so 1-2% can keep the first?

Sounds pretty simple to me. If you are healthy and feel confident, go live your life, work, enjoy. If you have underlying conditions, self quarantine. Or don’t.
