re: kohler generator

The starting battery in home generators often don't last long. I've had several go out within a year. That would be the first thing I'd check. You can jump it off if necessary.

Close! It was Colonel Potter who would say that frequently — often to Radar.

Tons of duck boats do that on MS river (Venice) during duck season and it blows my mind
This. They believe that running via GPS will keep them from obstacles but that doesn’t account for other boats. I speak from experience. A dumbass decision almost killed me.

Can’t you just make ‘em actually write their written assignments during class time? (in cursive )
Baton Rouge traffic lights are so poorly managed (short cycles, no synchronization) that I now sorta relate when people drive like this.

Out of curiosity, where is your camp?

Did we want to start over during the previous eight years of Edwin Edwards wannabe who wanted to shut down businesses over masks? Do we want to now with Huey P. Landry?
Exactly. This is what gives me pause. It’s also why the piecemeal approach using CAs may be a more effective approach. I’d certainly prefer a complete re-do, but we certainly have a bunch of questionable yahoos calling the shots.

I hope this sends a message that the only path forward is to start over.
if we started over today (with this bunch of leaders), do you really have confidence that the new constitution would be substantially better?

This one is on Gov. Landry and the Legislators. Maybe instead of "tax reform" where the same amount of money is still going to Baton Rouge
The conundrum is that the constitution requires so much tax revenue going to DHH and education, there not a ton remaining to make meaningful cuts. I mean, there is definitely some room for cutting but not much. And with little appetite to do a constitutional convention, we’re stuck here in a catch-22.

65-35 on Amendment 2 is an arse whipping
I agree here and it’s on Landry and others for both its construction as well as their poor efforts to “effectively sell” the benefits to voters. Unfortunately, I don’t see any feasible path forward anytime soon.

Blaming this on soros is peak stupidity.
I blame it on dumbasses like you. There isn’t going to be a constitutional convention— too much vested interest in the status quo. So, the beat plan we can hope for is to fix it over time with CAs. But you are going to vote no until you get a constitutional convention, in which nearly anything can happen given those same vested interests.

It’s got solid medical and theology programs. What specifically would you like to know?

I’ve used AGCO in the past and they did great work. Plus, he (Louis) saved me a ton of money with the dealership one time when he was too busy to get to it quickly.

Because my son was only in town a few days, I went with A Car since he could get to it immediately. He believes it was corroded hoses. Replaced them, recharged the refrigerant, and had it back to us the next day. So far, so good! :FingersCrossed:

Thanks for the recommendation!

Thanks. It’s been 20 or so years since I’ve worked on a car AC so this is a great reminder.

The compressor clutch engages when he turns the AC on so no issues with fuse or relay. Sounds like the vacuum/refill of refrigerant and crossing fingers is next step… Thanks!

I'll be checking it when I get home -- with my fingers crossed. Thanks!

My son's air conditioner isn't working and I'm hoping it's a freon leak. If you have a recommendation on a trustworthy mechanic who is knowledgeable on Toyota air conditioners, it will be appreciated.
I’m glad he’s making an example here but I really don’t want to see Canada as a state. Wish he would just leave that alone.
