re: 35 days sober(alcohol). Longest I've been sober in 35 years. The benefits are obvious...

Congrats! You've completed the hardest part!
My advice: Start some sort of exercise -- especially if you can swing it in the mornings. Maybe start with walking a mile or so until this becomes routine. Graduate later to something more vigorous. Men also need to lift so one day add that. I do HIIT most mornings now, but you have to figure out what's best for you.
Anyway, this helps with alcohol avoidance because you feel even better and something you look forward to. A drink can really drag you down and knock you out of that groove.

The news around this has been super vague. Any word on what actually happened?

Maybe you don't understand the role of the majority leader.

Don't be fooled. They are only doing this to get re-elected -- sort of like so many GOPe sell-outs who act conservative during election season. When the time comes, the commies can count on their vote.

I have been using Android for probably 13 years and never had any app issues
That said, I was surprised that the Pixel hasn't advanced much since the 5. It's funny to watch all the fanfare about each new release and it's usually little different from the one it replaced.

She's doing what Thune wants. Not sure how Trump can impact any of this.

I agree this is what they do, but it doesn't mean I have to like it. I also think it discredits them in the long run as viewers quit paying attention to his posts due to too much BS around them. Which is a shame, since he's done some good exposés.

I don't entirely disagree with you here. But why the addiction to promising something HUGE tomorrow? Why not just drop the huge revelation now? And why is the revelation, once made public, usually not as big as they made it out to be?
re: Duck Boat/Surface Drive Question

It's a necessity in some sandy bottom situations, like at Wax Lake. You use reverse to dig a five-foot trench so the prop has enough water to get on plane.
ETA: This is true for a GatorTail or MudBuddy surface drive. Not a sure with respect to a ProDrive with their full-power reverse design.
