What nobody tells these folks is that when you start shooting the synthetic stuff... your body will stop making the natural stuff. Then you are hooked to the synthetic.
That's literally the absolute first discussion that's had between a physician and a patient when discussing TRT.
ETA: and to the poster that said your body will begin producing it once you stop taking it, I have news for you. In your 40s, if your natural testosterone levels were so low that you were prescribed TRT, then you stop taking it, you body wont magically start producing normal levels of test again. If you're lucky, it will begin producing the low number you had before starting the TRT. And that's if you're lucky. Its more likely you will begin producing even less than your low numbers you had before. That's why they always ask if you're done having children before prescribing it.

hey you do know that the first sign of low testosterone is the constant need to point out those that you believe are taking trt and the 2nd sign is running to social media to complain about it......right??
just saying, might want to have those levels checked homie....sounding a little low.

That's what I meant, I may have worded it poorly.
I got lucky, I spent 3 or 4 years on TRT and a year after coming off of it my numbers are pretty good naturally. I was under 200 total when I started, was at 700 on my last test. Lost a good bit of weight and changed up my lifestyle while on it.

there are so many people on the OT that are so concerned about others. how they spend their money, what sports they allow their kids to play, what schools they go to, what major their kids decide to go into, how they exercise, what medicine they take, how they eat, etc.......it really is sad. the ot has become a fricking hollowed out version of what it once was.
Massive insecurities hidden by the veils of anonymity.
People love to discount the sheer amount of time, effort, discipline, and grit that goes into being jacked. It's almost as if they are afraid to believe someone was willing to trade their time, diet, and lifestyle to achieve something they always wanted but never had the discipline to pursue consistently. You get used to it after a while.

Is the equivalent of women having lip fillers, botox, and plastic everywhere in their bodies. What say tOTers

100%...they do the same thing with everything....sports....oh thats the parents living through the kid....become wealthy...oh well they got lucky
the OT is 100% full to the max with insecure fat fricks sitting on the couch judging others.

Ok, what's your point?

My wife hates that I’m on it cause all I wanna do is screw.
I wouldn’t consider myself old but I’m closer to being old than young.

I agree, know a guy who takes TRT and Chinese ozempic at 33 years old. Was already fit but I guess needs to look more plastic and polished to keep up with the Jones

Fully aware I was going to stop producing it naturally.
Much happier with my levels at 1400. Would be hard to find a someone walking around producing levels of 1400 naturally

I went back and re-read your post, and I agree with you in that sense. But for someone like me, it isn't going to come back in the 700s
my signs to get tested we mostly my moods, some depression, always being tired, unmotivated, that kinda shite. I was in good shape, but it was torture to do the things I had to do to be in that kind of shape due to the above mentioned symptoms. My first two lab results came back 180 and 240 even being in decent shape and taking fairly good care of myself. After being on it for abut three years now, I hover around 700-800 usually, and the difference in my moods are energy and like night and day from what they were. I'm 41 for reference, started TRT when I was 38.

I highly doubt many of these TRT clinics with these nurse practitioners that partially own the place are sitting there telling them anything but how great they are going to be after they start.

I find it hilarious that people get so triggered over spending money on peptides, hormones, botox, etc, when they themselves spend money eating garbage food and drinking alcohol.
Like do what makes you happy. If you are happy being a fat arse then by all means be a fat arse.
Working out and optimizing hormones so that I can look and feel the best that I can, makes me happy.
People thinking that we workout 5 days a week, follow a meal plan, to "keep up with jones" or impress anyone other than ourselves are jackasses

What were his T levels, doesn’t matter if he’s 33 or 53, if he needs t REPLACEMENT (pay attention to that word) therapy then his numbers were naturally low. Just because he was fit before doesn’t mean he possibly didn’t feel right. Test affects much more than fitness. Lots of dumbasses in this thread who don’t know shite about frick
