Ah ok. So same as me.

I'm just finishing up my third week. Strength is steadily increasing in the gym, but the biggest change has been energy levels, sleep quality, and wanting to jump every attractive female I run across now.

That explains the 1400 right there.

I also use a clinic that specializes in anti-aging and the health/wellness industry. Not a urologist or endocrinologist that tend to treat levels rather than how you feel

I visited one of those. I checked into TRT a little more than 2 years ago, when I still lived in SLC. My Dr was willing to put me on it then even with levels around high 600/low 700, but I decided not to at the time.

Fast forward and my sleep patterns and mental fog got worse, Drs here in Iowa will not put anyone on TRT unless they are under 350. So I checked out one of those clinics. I got on peptides and TAT(augmentation). I am honestly skeptical about the augmentation, but it wasn't that expensive. Took a test 2 weeks ago, T was at 1052 with a rise in free T.

Is there anything that would cause a false T reading? I do not feel as though my levels rose. I am not feeling the "benefits" that most do.

Edit to add...56 years old

That was similar to where I was at. My pre covid shutdown levels were right at 900. When the gyms shut down I quit lifting and started drinking daily. Gained about 30 lbs. When they opened back up I felt like death when lifting, couldn't recover from workouts, constant injuries, etc. Started TRT and got back into the swing of things. Lost all the weight I'd gained and quit drinking. Guess that's why my levels went back up to pretty normal when I got off. I miss the consistency of being on TRT, though. I'll go a couple of months feeling great then have a couple of weeks where my discipline slips and I can tell my levels dropped. Won't feel like having sex for weeks straight, slow recovery, brain fog, etc.

How’s your liver?

I’ve had good results with TUDCA (Tauroursodeoxycholic Acid)

- “supports liver health by promoting bile flow, reducing liver enzyme levels, and protecting liver cells from stress. It’s also studied for potential benefits in improving insulin sensitivity, supporting gut health, and reducing cellular inflammation. Scientific research highlights the potential health benefits of TUDCA, emphasizing its therapeutic uses across various bodily systems, such as digestive support and mitochondrial function. Additionally, studies suggest that TUDCA can help reduce insulin resistance and improve insulin sensitivity, which is crucial for maintaining healthy blood glucose levels.”

It's fine. Bloodwork is good across the board.

That's interesting.

My latest blood work shows all my test levels top 20% for my age range.

The soy boys with bad genes should be more embarrassed when they share they are on TRT imo

Things I don't care about: What people put in their own bodies (unless it's radioactive and can harm others).

This actually does not mean you are not soy. It just means you are upper level soy.

It stops producing while you were on it. It'll take a few months but it'll start producing it again. Unless you've made major lifestyle changes you'll just be back at where you were before TRT minus whatever age decrease has come along.

Not for everyone. Some need PCT to restart natural production.

I got lucky, I spent 3 or 4 years on TRT and a year after coming off of it my numbers are pretty good naturally. I was under 200 total when I started, was at 700 on my last test. Lost a good bit of weight and changed up my lifestyle while on it.

Good shite. Some men can benefit tremendously from it.

TRT for what purpose? Many younger men these days suffer from low testosterone levels, likely due to food and water supply, and take it for nothing to do with working out.

Is this supposed to be one of those faux macho threads where people act like no man should ever do anything but hunt, chop firewood, and eat rare red meat?

here are so many people on the OT that are so concerned about others. how they spend their money, what sports they allow their kids to play, what schools they go to, what major their kids decide to go into, how they exercise, what medicine they take, how they eat, etc..

Most men here are little more than chatty lil women who want to gossip and talk about sihit they have no education on.

How old are you? The wonders of modern medicine and TRT allow us to feel like were 20 again instead of 40, 50, 60. I feel younger and stronger at 45 than I did at 25, look it as well.
