re: Men who take TRT at a young age

I know this is a troll thread, but the average testosterone level in men has been dropping precipitously for decades.
A bunch of low test men walking around has cultural and societal implications, so if bros with low test need some exogenous t to get back to normal, I am all for it.

I think the young bros are just hitting roids again.

If someone has very low/depleted testosterone I don't see what the issue is with supplementing it regardless of age, within reason of course.
I believe he is inferring that most men taking it do not have true hypogonadism.
I believe he is implying that it is a big money-making cure-all for insecure men.
A cure-all that can quite possibly be harmful in the long run.

This is correct for men who don’t actually need it but for men who do it is probably worth the risk although it is very hard on your prostate. I wouldn’t take it if you have a history of prostate issues or high blood pressure

My first two lab results came back 180 and 240 even being in decent shape and taking fairly good care of myself.
That was similar to where I was at. My pre covid shutdown levels were right at 900. When the gyms shut down I quit lifting and started drinking daily. Gained about 30 lbs. When they opened back up I felt like death when lifting, couldn't recover from workouts, constant injuries, etc. Started TRT and got back into the swing of things. Lost all the weight I'd gained and quit drinking. Guess that's why my levels went back up to pretty normal when I got off. I miss the consistency of being on TRT, though. I'll go a couple of months feeling great then have a couple of weeks where my discipline slips and I can tell my levels dropped. Won't feel like having sex for weeks straight, slow recovery, brain fog, etc.

the health issues come from being above the natural physiological levels. If done right you're taking just enough to be at the top of the natural range.

All baws in Louisiana need to start T by middle school. Everyone is so fricking short and ends up a sloppy fat frick by 30

How would HE know what another man testosterone level is? Very presumptuous
As long as you monitor your blood work every 4 months and the levels stay aligned there is very little harm. Nobody dies from high testosterone levels, it's when people blast and don't monitor that the sides can get you.

What if I take TRT and Botox?

Much happier with my levels at 1400. Would be hard to find a someone walking around producing levels of 1400 naturally
Your Dr is good with you at that level?
That is hard for me to believe.

I would say they are definitely easy to spot like the examples you listed....red faced, tight skin, unusually veiny, they look like walking boners on the prowl
I don’t understand the downvotes your post received…it’s true - people on TRT definitely have a certain look generally - that scales depending on how much juice they are running.
If that’s you then embrace it who gives a f*ck what others think.

I'm on it now. Started about a year ago. My transplant meds made my testosterone go below 200.

Yes. She said as long as it comes back readable, which is under 1500, then they are fine with it.

Wow.
I do not know your age, but I have 3 friends on TRT. All mid-50's. All are being kept at or around 1000.

I'm 33.
I also use a clinic that specializes in anti-aging and the health/wellness industry. Not a urologist or endocrinologist that tend to treat levels rather than how you feel.
Shooting to have your levels in a certain range is nonsense if you feel normal, don't have any side effects, and blood work looks good.

How much are you taking? I'm assuming cypionate injections?

200mg/wk. I break it up and do 100mg every 3.5 days
