Doesn't really matter too much what we're doing. Pretty happy with all the time we get to spend together.

Somebody has to put the brakes on her spending.

I usually go to look for things for myself, but the problem is that I can do all of that in about 15 minutes, and my wife takes 2 and a half hours. I still haven't found a good balance.

I can understand a guy sitting in a chair in front of the fitting rooms, playing on his phone. What I don't get is the active participation in picking out and discussing clothes. Maybe I've been missing out?

Many men are working on a weekday before 3:00.

If I go with wifey it's one of two things. Are we going to get these certain items? If it's yes that's all we get. Are we going shopping? If the answer is yes she's going it alone.

True and to pay for the purchases and carry the bags for them in hope of getting some tail that night

They might be shopping for men's things too. On the rare occasions when men go to the mall, they usually bring their wives along, so that way the men won't be accused of being gay.

They were all wondering the same thing about you.

Are you really asking if shopping is new? Yes, they just invented going to the mall with your spouse.

I enjoy spending time with my wife.
We live a ways from any shopping. We will drive to town together and I'll poke around lowes or HD for an hour or two then she pokes around Target for a bit. It isn't bad.

I need to start my own card company.
Something with a puppy or kitty on the front. Open it up and it says "Here is some money, give your grandma a hug the next time she comes over".

My husband would totally go to the mall with me. I’d start by getting him a daiquiri.
Perkins Rowe is more our thing though.

There is no right answer for "does this make me look fat?"
or
"Maybe P-H-A-T!" (actually she doesn't love that one)

What is this, 1950? It's been a thing for a very long time. I enjoy shopping much more as an adult with money to spend than I did as a kid being drug around to the stores.

went to a wedding in Nola a couple of weekends ago, I brought a suit for the event but when we get to town my wife decides I need a couple of new suits so we went shopping, I absolutely hate trying stuff on, but that day it was actually enjoyable and I didn't even know malls were even a thing anymore but we went to a Macy's in a mall, on Causeway I think? and it wasn't trashy, ghetto, and the salespeople were actually very friendly and helpful

Yes, I'm old. And I have plenty money but still hate spending it.
