It seems they cannot resist temptation
I’m pretty sure the point is to have the self control to not act on the temptation, recognizing that it’s wrong. We cannot avoid being tempted, it’s not possible because we are imperfect and we all sin

Just tell him: Take it easy. I'm here to work out. Do a set and let me jump in and catch a set.

And they happened at work before gym use was common.
And on the Bridges in Madison County before that.
Cheaters are going to cheat. They will find a way. Scantily clad women is not the reason men cheat.

But isn't this an inherently more wholesome and sound answer to that?
I'm not interested in this, but I don't object to people who would be.
Agree.
it's a matter of conscience and the heart. Some recovering alcoholics can hang out in bars no problem. I stopped drinking nearly two years ago, and there's no environment that tempts me to drink. I don't know that I was an alcoholic, but it was an unhealthy aspect of my life. But plenty of alcoholics who no longer drink cannot go to bars and stay sober.
People misinterpret Matthew 5:29. Jesus' point was that you can't remove all things that might cause you to sin, in order to stop sinning. It's a matter of the heart. And mind.

Coed gyms are incredibly gay, so they wouldn’t avoid a typical membership if they liked men
Just an odd textbook case of baws lacking self control. I’m not sure I’d be telling the other baws about this membership.

I think it’s goofy, but you are mischaracterizing his point, which was that gyms are where most affairs happen. I’m not sure if that is true, but that’s his point.
Kind of a stupid point. If he can’t control himself from cheating at the gym, how is he controlling himself from cheating at the grocery store, church, etc?

Old men who hang out in the locker rooms will love this

In ancient Greece, the gymnasium were all male and they exercised naked.....aaaaand they did what Greeks would do.

The gym I worked out in during college the three hottest chicks had bodyguard types that worked out with them to try and keep folks from hitting on them.

Opportunity plays into it in a big way. And societies have been making rules about female modesty for thousands of years.

Me too, but usually by skin color

In the old law that is correct, but Jesus took it further and said simply thinking of it makes you guilty of it.

Not going to lie.
In my gym some of those girls may as well just wear a thong.
It’s sometimes a little hard to focus when their arse cheeks are out while they’re doing bent over rows in front of my mirror.

one of the No. 1 places affairs and infidelity occur, cheating, is the gym.
It's still cheating even if it's with the same sex.
