No. It's because they founded and ran a Publicly traded company worth hundreds of billions of dollars. Has shite to do with their consumer electronics or automobile spending.

Bill Gates isn't lying, but he didn't exactly grow up poor. He has had many pretty impressive cars over the years. Avid Porsche fan and had a pretty large collection at one time.
Not sure if he still does.

Yep. Beyond the fact that he owns a private jet charter service, billionaires don't fly coach (or even commercial) anymore.
That was more of a 90's era affectation. These days, not only are private jets prized for security reasons but rich people now tout the time/quality of life benefits (which in turn supposedly benefit shareholders) of the boss not being at the whims of Delta's schedule or other peculiarities.
