Care to quote where I said fleeing from the police should be a death sentence?

I simply made a comment that he would still be alive today had he not ran. Facts are facts, you can't really argue that.

Bagley’s wife told officers her husband was drunk and had marijuana in the back of the apartment

Bitch sold him out and will turn on the waterworks to get a massive payment and sympathy. All from a horrible incident that was started by her betraying her husband. Disgusting.

And why are cops trigger happy? What are citizens doing now to make cops less trigger happy? I would say society is making it worse

the cops suck

this attitude will certainly help cities attract better, more qualified and less “trigger happy” cops

1) there does need to be some form of police reform, but it has very little to do with race (which is where everyone focuses attention

2) body camera are providing transparency so we can prosecute based on actual evidence and not eyewitness accounts or cops own versions

3) mistakes will always happen in any progression. vilifying all cops and making law enforcement the “problem” even during mistakes only makes the problem of hiring qualified LEOs worse

if you want to avoid being part of some of these terrible accidents, not being involved in criminal activity and not actively fighting or running from cops is a great start. no, he shouldn’t have died but he increased his likelihood by a significant amount by running

Yep. Likely spend some time in prison too.

The Left won't be happy until the officers just run up to armed perps and allow themselves to be shot first.

Yep. This cop is the perfect example of the ones they want off the street too.

I just saw one recently where they are protesting a police shooting because the guys gun, a real gun mind you, was unloaded. How exactly were the police supposed to know that?

The left is really good at taking real-world scenarios, and mixing them up with their clown world.

IDGAF if a guy is killed fleeing or not complying. Most of the time they are POS. Color doesn't matter either. The only thing that sucks is when a black person is killed, never when the guy is white, they destroy businesses and use it as an excuse to loot.

I don’t. But we can’t tell cops not to pursue and we can’t tell cops not to arm themselves for protection.

So running from cops will get you perused, and while in pursuit you’re a lot more likely to be a part of a tragedy

Is it possible that it's something more like this?

This means nothing. A person can be unarmed and still be a threat to someone’s life.

Sure you can. It happens at SOs and PDs all across the country every day.

A scary percentage of the American public sees this as a one-sided issue whereas it is very much a two-sided issue. You cannot have a society that demonizes police while society itself is increasingly misbehaving. While this guy probably didn't deserve to be shot, he would've never had an issue if he didn't turn a non-issue into an ordeal. This is the case with almost every police shooting/major incident.

You cannot ask the police to fix itself if you're unwilling to fix yourself.

Blown away over a noise complaint and some reefer in his apartment.

Yeah, sounds totally justified.

I understand your point ad mostly agree, but I've also seen videos of people doing exactly what the police are asking and they still get shot. One reaction for sure increases your chances of getting shot and one decreases your chances of getting shot, but neither are without risk.
