I actually just started getting into Fool Us not long ago and all I know is I've got to be the world's worst at figuring out magic tricks. Every single one of them makes me feel like a moron

Nah, that is a good trait. You get to appreciate the magic more when not trying to figure out how everything works.
Speaking of Fool Us, my two favorite magic tricks that did not fool Penn and Teller but are excellent in their own way.
Dead pan humor was terrific.
Even though he screwed it up at the end it is impressive.

That disappearing cock trick you did was unbelievable! One second it was next to your mouth and then it was gone. Vanished in a millisecond! Hard to believe anything could be ingested that fast in the animal kingdom!
