a) your daughter is a drama queen
b) its been that away for first week of school for decades now
c) tell her to park in the field lots or take the damn bus or walk. its not that hard to figure out. tell her to be an adult.

This was the reason I generally had 7:30 class. Parking was easy.

This has been an issue forever. I used to have to park across campus from my class and hike in in the 95 degree August heat. Really difficult when you're working and living off campus and commuting back and forth.

When I get a parent survey -I always put there should be a different orientation and welcome week track for commuters but I know no one reads them

After sitting in traffic and moving 500 feet in 30 minutes on campus yesterday, I say they should take away more parking.

For my Soph-Senior years at LSU I never bought the parking pass and rode the bus. It stopped at my apartment complex so it was a simple decision.

I would always park in the X lot behind Acacia on busy days. Never seemed to be full.
Plus, it's the first week of school, give it a couple weeks and the dropouts and slackers will stop showing up for class
