Wait, you’re telling my in the anecdote that the younger person in your family recovered the easiest? That must be incorrect because I’ve seen headlines with quotes from government leaders that this disease is coming for our children more aggressively than black medal came for our kids in the 80’s

Interestingly the uk numbers appear to be declining for new cases of unvaccinated and increasing for vaccinated. Time will tell but the source I saw on it yesterday mentioned it could be running out of unvaccinated hosts. Also not seeing nearly the same hospitalizations there as last wave due to mostly younger people contracting. Uk is ahead of the us in vac numbers also.

Your post here represents a huge problem we have with Covid and the way it is tracked.

As of a few hours ago, this was reported:
quote:

LONDON (Reuters) - Britain's Chief Scientific Adviser Patrick Vallance said on Monday that 60% of people being admitted to hospital with COVID-19 have had two doses of vaccine.

So....which science is that we are to believe?

The UK has about 70% of the population with at least 1 shot & today they removed the last of their restrictions, it will be interesting to see how it goes over there vs a place like here which has less than 40% fully vaccinated.

Minorities are not getting the vax here. Look at the stats amongst Latinos and Blacks

Agree. It’s hard to find accurate statistics and data. Most everything is blurred on both sides of the aisle on anything regarding covid. I prefer hard stats and data to any opinionated pieces out there.

has the media or anyone mentioned demographics of who is getting vaccinated. Blacks and Hispanics are not getting vaccinated at the same rate as whites....but we won't hear that reported

It is also uneducated vs educated.

But we currently have 40 covid inpatients. 39 unvaccinated

What's the age breakdown of these cases? I'm assuming you're in a hospital setting.

What I quoted came directly from Britain's Chief Scientific Advisor, one of the main people, much like the good doctor Fauci in the US, who is instrumental in setting public policy.

Glad you were waiting. I have a job.

I am not reading anything you link. I remember very well your smug attitude toward anyone who disagreed with you on ANY topic, not just COVID.

You were pro-shutdown. You were an arse to anyone who objected. If you later changed your tune after the damage from what you originally wanted was done, well good for you!

Not sure. She had stomach pains and was throwing up which we didn’t have. She may have had it before us. She ran fever on Saturday when we were out of town, my wife started on Monday and I didn’t start till Friday. So she may have been the first to get it.

The CDC just moved the UK to the highest alert rating, and is now advising against traveling there. Vaxxed or not

Holy shite you actually believe this don't you?

Biden hasn't done jack shite.

He said he had a plan and he hasn't done anything different than what was already being done.

Why are they encouraging people to get the vax due to the Delta variant when the vax doesn't stop people from being susceptible to the Delta variant?

Going by the LDH numbers.

40-49 Age group 72,714 Cases, 346 Deaths

.475% death rate or 1 in 210 cases

30-39 Age goup 81,733 Cases, 146 Deaths

.178% death rate or 1 in 560 cases.

This is just of the COVID cases, doesn't even take into account the small portion of each age group who even get the WuFlu.

A few more will die from the plague. The nice thing is it reduces the overall percentage of drug and robbery related deaths.

Brilliant idea by the social activists!

The Chinese bio-warfare scientists are to be commended!
