Whit Weeks On LSU-Ole Miss: ‘We Know What We’re Walking Into’

LSU linebacker Whit Weeks knows the Tigers are walking into a huge atmosphere Saturday night when they travel to Oxford to take on Ole Miss.
“I think it’s going to be awesome,” Weeks said after Saturday's win over Louisiana Tech. “If you look at our schedule on the year, we play these games pretty much every single week from here on out. So every single week is going to be fireworks.”
Saturday’s matchup will be the SEC opener for both teams and will feature two Top 10 programs, with LSU ranked No. 7 and Ole Miss at No. 8.
It will also mark Lane Kiffin’s highly anticipated return to Oxford after leaving Ole Miss for LSU.
“We know what we’re walking into,” Weeks said. “It’s probably the most anticipated game of the offseason, probably of the whole season. It’s going to be a lot of fun.”
Kickoff from Vaught-Hemingway Stadium is set for 6:30 p.m. CT on ABC.
