Updated College Football Polls: SEC Dominates Top 10, Texas Takes Over No. 1

The updated AP Top 25 and Coaches Poll rankings were released Sunday following a wild Week 2 of the college football season.

Texas is the new No. 1 team in the country after its dramatic 24-23 comeback win over Ohio State, leading another strong showing for the SEC in both major polls.

The SEC landed nine teams in the AP Top 25, including six of the Top 10 with Texas, Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, and Alabama. Tennessee and Missouri are also ranked, while Oklahoma remained in the Top 25 despite its loss to Michigan.
