HRRR for BR tomorrow.

This depicts hours of moderate to heavy freezing rain for the BR region. With temperatures in BR currently at freezing or below, my concern for Baton Rouge in terms of ice amount is rising tonight.

Things are looking bad down that way and the 00z HRRR is already a few degrees too warm at just +1hr.

I have to get from Mandeville to Slidell in the morning for work. I hope it's not an interesting drive.

need to get to Zachary tomorrow from the west side and don't want to get stuck there. The Audubon is already closed. Which usually closes first, the 190 or I-10 bridge?

If you could make it to Donaldsonville and cross the bridge there then come up backroads. Or

I haven’t seen the new HRRR. What does it show in the way of freezing rain accretion for the northern half of Ascension? I know depending on the model you look at over the past day or so we could get .60” or .05”. The gradient is very tight. Still that way on the new HRRR?

When is the ice anticipated to hit BR? Early morning? Just before noon?

This weather sucks so bad. Give me 100 degrees with a heat index of 110 any day of the week over 30 degrees, feels like 20 degrees.
