What makes you think the Sunshine Bridge will be open?

Hell, the way radar looks and the current temps, freezing rain should begin in BR tonight.

This depicts hours of moderate to heavy freezing rain for the BR region. With temperatures in BR currently at freezing or below, my concern for Baton Rouge in terms of ice amount is rising tonight.
Soooooo no work and I can start drinking tonight ?

the rain has started again in Alexandria
not heavy at all... and there were some things fluttering in with the rain that looked potentially like little snow flurries but I'm not certain they were too small
also... I confirmed again that the Alexandria utilities director is on my power grid... my neighbor works in the city's electric department

Mine is the opposite, doesn’t want to go out so I have to go with her to get her to go

Mine digs a hole in the flower bed and hunkers down. She is about impossible to get in the house most of the time. She did come in earlier, but it will not be long before she is pacing to get back out there.

I had the gurkhas take Zeus and Aristotle out on their run earlier.

depends on how quickly the transfer happens from rain to sleet/snow
ETA: esp. when the heavy shite arrives in the morning

Mine is happy as can be. I got him a new pillow in his kennel. I set him up in my outdoor office with a heater and food and water. After being outside all day, I swear he actually smiled when I put him in there this evening

The freezing rain stopped as of now in NW Calcasieu. I would call the accretion/accumulation a glaze.

Sure do miss the Point Coupee weather reports from Fishfighter at a time like this, and always with a emoticon
