Channel Drain instillation

Posted by jose on 4/29/25 at 3:48 pm
I am looking to install a channel drain along the edge of my patio as this is where water tends to accumulate the most.

I've watched several Youtube videos on this so I think I can manage it.

I plan on using the t NDS 1-1/4 in. x 6 ft. Slim Channel Drain Kit and attaching to some PVC pipe once I did a deep trench.

I tried calling 811 for them to come and check for any buried lines in my yard, but they haven't gotten back to me.

Any words of advice before I try and tackle this endeavor?

Layout is:
Lift 1 for 4-5 sets
Lift 2 for 4-5 sets
Lift 3a/3b for 3-5 sets
Lift 4a/b/c/d for 3-4 sets
*4d is only on days 1 and 4 of the rotation

Yea, that is the exact same layout as Arm Farm. That is what I will be doing next month!

Thanks for the heads up. I will have to look elsewhere then more than likely. That is a little too long for me during my lunch break.

Any other good PPSA programs that are 60-70 minutes? I find Arm Farm is the best for my time, which is why I run it constantly.
She should try smiling.
And didn't that little SS also chirp something at Jared Jones whil ehe was at first? It was pretty funny watching him try to talk shite looking way up in the air

I ended up shutting it down.

I had a conference last week and didn't do any of the exercises. I wanted to go back and catch up, but I just got tired of the way he wrote the workouts.

I am back doing Arm Farm since it was a last minute switch yesterday. I plan on doing the new garlic milkshake next month.

I was coming to post this one. That one seemed the be the most terrifying disease I learned about.

The second one is Lesch-Nyhan syndrome (LNS). Which is an over production of uric acid.

Delayed motor development.
Involuntary muscle movements (dystonia, chorea, ballismus). Intellectual disabilities. Aggressive and impulsive behaviors. Self-injurious behavior (e.g., lip biting, finger chewing, head banging.) The way this was described is that they have to strap patients to their wheelchairs because they were causing so much self harm.

I try and spend my entire lunch break at the gym. If I can get away and spend 1:30 there, then so be it. That is my only me time during the day. That is my stress relief.

When I get home, it's family time.

Ya I have a document saved with calculations for my %'s based on my maxes. Pretty cool. You should give it a try.

I’m not very good with math and numbers to pre plan like that. I get in and then look at the workout for the day then go to my notes on my phone and find the %s.

I no longer to traditional squats or deadlifts at all. I quit about a year or so ago. I'll do hack squats, leg press, lunges, etc. but with my lower back, the risk outweighs the reward. Before I stopped, I think my squat was up to about 365, and deads were maybe 425? So its not like I was weak on those lifts, its just they were debilitating for me, to the point were I could barely bend over to pick up my lil girl the next two days. I cut out deads completely, and with hack squats and leg press I don't go as heavy as I could, usually keeping the weight limited to what I can do for 8-10 reps per set.

That makes sense. Machines don’t take as much out of you for the most part. Free weights and chafing weights can easily prolong any workout session.

I usually make a quick lap around my small gym and look out the window

ok so you are weak....before you criticize....might want to get strong, put some muscle on and stop picking exercises that show you have a huge case of frickarounditus.

And doesn't look like any of the big 3; bench, squat, or deads. Changing weights make my break time even longer on those 3.

Did that one several years ago.

You have to go to the Red Dog Saloon in Juneau.

Go do a Spring Cleaning workout. Easy 70 minute workout. Hell the 3 round warm up takes me 10. Some days he prescribes working up to a 90% 1RM then 3x3 working sets at ~70%. Then a whole other lift prescribed the same.

Most of the PPSA workouts take me an hour.

Would be my guess too.

Unless you have any allergic symptoms. Topical steroids would be where I’d start as well. Could also try Benadryl and Zyrtec.

ETA: if you’re headed to the doctor you’ll likely get a steroid shot.

This is one of my grievances with this program.

I read the military press and pull ups as a super set. But it looks like he wants you to work up to a 3 rep max then also some sort of way superset those with 4x5 pull-ups. I just don’t like how it he had the programed at all.
