I hope that is AI or a fake.

It is both fake and AI. It is a combination of a couple of different videos. The woman originally slipped on wet rocks and fell into a creek/river. The lava is from a volcanic eruption video. The original claim was that it was from the Palisades Fire in L.A.

This video had Grok arguing that it was real. Even when presented with both of the source videos and "shown" that it was fake, Grok doubled down and tripled down that it was real. I don't know that it ever admitted it was wrong.

Looks like a bunch of smoke, when I hear erupting I want to see lava.

It did a little If you go back earlier in the video, you can see it. Maybe pre cum for a volcano?

think about how much CO2 something like that or the Canadian wildfires puts out over any given time and then contrast that with the fact that NYC is saving the planet by fricking over about 100 coal or wood fired pizzerias

quote:

The New Regulations

The Mandate: Pizzerias with coal or wood-fired ovens installed prior to May 2016 must hire an engineer to review their setup and install specialized filtration systems.

The Goal: To reduce smoky pollutants, odors, and particulate matter that contribute to respiratory issues.

The Cost: Upgrades and equipment installation can cost individual restaurant owners anywhere from $20,000 upwards to over $100,000 depending on the complexity of the chimney and exhaust configuration.

Who Is Affected: The rule impacts roughly 100 to 130 legacy and newer specialty pizzerias across the five boroughs.

Maybe a little more considering Mexico City has 20 million and they would all be displaced.

Mt Etna on Sicily has been doing some pretty cool effusive eruptions recently. Cool video of it at night.

Two summers ago I hiked to the summit of Mt. Vesuvius.

Nothing major has happened there since 1944, but it is still considered to be active.

Ouch! I know better, she & I have an understanding. You can love the water but, well you know. I’ve crossed her many times and she hasn’t hit me to hard, yet.

When I was 10 I did this as part of a family vacation. However, at the top I really needed to piss and there's no bathrooms anywhere around up there (or at least there wasn't 24 years ago).

So, as a 10 year old, I made sure no one was around and pissed right into the volcano.

Cool story, I know
