I knew they were cooked when they sent everybody a push notification with the wallet app. What the frick are we doing. That’s what you get when your CEO is a gay barner by the way.

Probably true. I bought mine used from AT&T so was maybe $400 max but so long ago I don’t recall. It was probably not the newest phone at that time. I went with 15 last year bc I plan to keep into it dies.

Apple is a good investment still. I invested in both NVD and AAPL in 2014. Back then NVD had promising chips for gaming and latched on with the consoles. AI has blasted them through the stratosphere. Doesn’t really fit the Apple model. The whole customer base argument hasn’t really panned out either. They just make good products.

The Roman Empire is a little much. It lasted hundreds of years and longer if you want to include the Byzantines. It's more aQin to the first empire of China

Sorry bout that. I'm a Samsung guy but don't think they are going anywhere soon.

Thanks for the video.

I grew up an Apple fan under Jobs. I can't think of a single improvement Apple has made under Cook. All it seems to do now is nickel-and-dime customers into having to buy new accessories, more storage space, etc.

Jobs revolutionized so many industries:
- The home PC industry (Macintosh)
- The movie industry (Pixar)
- The internet (iMac)
- The music industry (iPod)
- The phone industry (iPhone)
- The tablet industry (iPad)

Under Cook, Apple has revolutionized:
- ?

I remember loving software updates when Jobs had Apple because it usually meant cool new features. Under Cook I dread them because it's usually something more complicated to use, or is only available through more upgrades or subscriptions. Apple sucks now.

Cook should have been ousted years ago. Now it may be too late.

Excellent video. I posted it on Tech Board.

Following Boeing's path, allowing Finance and Marketing to run company, pushing engineers to side. Taking a bath of AI development.

Spent $77 billion on stock buybacks in 2023 while denying a purchase of 50,000 AI chips. Apple only had 50,000 five year old AI chips while Meta, Google, MS had several hundreds of thousands of chips each.

Cook even bought someone from Boeing on the board.

As for the iPhone, there is not much innovation anymore. The Chinese brands such as Xaiomi, Vivo, and Oppo/Oneplus are producing some great phones and that is why Apple is losing ground in China.

How can they improve the iPad? give it more of the functionality of a MacBook.

I laughed a few years ago when IPhone came out with the lightning fast usb-c charger, and made a big deal of it, even though my Nexus 6P, a couple generations before, had the same usb-c charger.

Bought the wife an iphone 16 pro max and it's laughable how far behind it is, even to my s23 ultra.

Apple users are so blinded by their loyalty to the company and their love of the almighty blue text messages that they fail to see that the iPhone is inferior. Every time I pick one up it feels like a downgrade. iMessage is the only thing that is keeping them in the position they're in and even that is slowly starting to crumble with Apple supporting RCS, finally. I am so sick of the "ew green text" smooth-brain comments from people who can't seem to think independently. I've gotten tons of shite over the years from being an Android user, but I can't bring myself to get an iPhone and lose all of the features and functionality I've gotten accustomed to just so I can fit in.

Reminds me of this:

Compared to the professional stock gurus who never consistently beats the sp500 ?

Nah. Compared to the plethora of analysis that is available from a variety of different individual and institutional professionals on every individual equity. Pick the right ones and you consistently beat the S&P. Or if the S&P is where you set the bar, there are plenty of ETF’s or mutual funds that meet your needs. But I’m guessing that YouTube videos that tell you how to do that don’t get many views.
