Yesterday I accidentally saw a picture of two politicians wearing masks and elbow bumping in 2021. It was an absolute clown world. What makes me most angry is how we basically had 2 years of our life erased.

I’m more pissed for my son who lost months of social interactions and had to wear a mask to school as if the kids weren’t trading them during recess.

If someone asked me to explain covid now I don't even think I could. It's like a fever dream of a time that I'm not even sure was real.
You couldn't get cleaning supplies, webcams, and hand sanitizer for like 2+ years because people were hoarding it

Well, I have around a dozen doctors from different specialties in my family and friend circle none of whom put politics before objective research. I bounced questions off of them constantly. They'd send me articles, data sets, medical papers, etc., opine on them and tell me where they agreed and disagreed. Not a one was confident enough on March 9th as you were.

You’re trying to rationalize the people who were okay with shutdowns, masks, social distancing, shooting kids with something they never needed. That’s how they all spoke then. Nothing about the data even on March 9th suggested this would kill 10% of the people who got it yet half the population believed it.

Maine wanted me to prepay for a 7 day quarantine in advance for a hotel stay because I was unvaccinated. 7 days up front. If I was spotted leaving the room I would be kicked out. Korean girl I was with was vaccinated but that didn't matter. We drove back to her place in Boston. We couldn't eat inside at a restaurant so they said we could eat outside. However it was cold so they put up a tent, effectively making the outside inside and that was somehow OK. Strange times.

FFS...analyzing all data presented and coming to a thought-out conclusion isn't "straddling the fence". It's basically the definition of objective reasoning.
