I got so many warnings, it was like the "don't make me turn this car around" threat.

Hospitals were packed!

It was like a warzone!

Meanwhile, like even 10 months after we knew that it wasn't transferring from surfaces or air vents and crap, they still were having quarantined beds in the ER that could only be used for covid patients, and nothing else. If they were full, they couldn't put a covid patient in the non-covid beds in the ER. That was the overwhelming majority of the bed "shortage" issues in a nutshell.

All logic went completely out the window.

That’s always the excuse isn’t it? Actually for people with critical thinking skills many things were pretty clear.

People want to say they knew from the beginning that it was all a farce. They think that makes them sound smart. It doesn't. Critical thinking requires facts and evidence. We did not have facts and empirical evidence early on. We had hunches/feelings/anecdotes, but we did not have the facts to make an informed decision.

However bad you think it was, things were actually worse on the northeast and west coasts.

I will never spend another dime in New York City. They tried to make me a 2nd class citizen with their little vaccine passport app bullshite. I haven’t forgotten.

South Korea and the cruise ships were excellent sources of data. But they were forgotten within days and ignored. I wonder why.

So since, as you say, no facts were available, what justification was there for schools being shutdown, the economy being destroyed, people not allowed to leave their house or visit relatives, vaccine mandates, etc..?

What’s the next thing that you will support you and your families personal liberties being taken away with no facts?

God they’ll swear up and down they didn’t mandate you getting the jab

But in order to keep working you had to have it. You could’ve quit your job and not taken the shot .. oh yeah the shite that didn’t even stop you from getting Covid anyway

There are still universities and employers mandating the COVID vaxx. It's fricking insane.

I apologize I misread what you wrote about Italy.

Both of which were extensive and great environments to extrapolate from.

I agree.

The panicked posters were using Italy.

And the the objective sources were using everything. You were ultimately correct, but to say now that we knew enough in early March to definitively say we knew where this was all going isn't true.
