Ahh, gotcha. I knew it was something like that.
We stayed for Katrina, lived in Gulfport like 8 miles from the coast. I was 11 but remember it like it was yesterday.

We thought he was probably dead and finally got a call from the coast guard almost 2 weeks later. He rode the coast guard ship to NO.
Motherfricker.

He was around 85 at the time. Stubborn old man and WW2 veteran that lived majority of his life in Pilottown. Never left for Betsy, Camille, or any other storms.

In the middle of all that floating, rotten bagged chicken was a group of dolphins from Marine Life in Gulfport that “escaped” when the facility got ruined. I got to be a part of that. Those dolphins had no clue how to find food. One had a stingray barb in the head and another one swallowed a hammer. They were captured with taxpayer money and given back to the slimy business owner who then sold them to Atlantis in the Bahamas, where they remain to this date (as far as I know)

The smell everywhere was bad. Everyone developed a cough from the mold. We called it “Katrina cough”

Looking like landfall at or just west of Holly Beach if current movement holds for a couple hoirs

All ya'll donating hotel points and offering a hotel room share makes me cry. I didn't think there was any of this remaining. The nicest thing I have seen in awhile.

Wait a sec, did they update this?
Dunno, but that looks really, really bad.

Lafayette to the basin bridge isn't flooding.
True. But people can’t avoid collisions on the basin on clear, dry days.

Anyone check out the remote camera from Cameron lately? I’m actually surprised there isn’t more water than that on the road.

That's kind of shitty that they won't let you continue east if you're trying to bail. Lafayette to the basin bridge isn't flooding.
Find it hard to believe I-10 between East of lake Charles and the Atchafalaya will be flooded.

Was hoping to see or hear something from the rigs. Figured there might be some cameras out there

I played ping pong and hit golf balls in there. They had a cool rec room.

I think tiger91 said she was staying in one of these locations. Let me check back. I think it was Abbeville.

This is really sad. I hope people left because this is going to be a life altering event. God bless the folks in its path.
