re: Is Mattress Firm a front operation? - marinebioman
I bought a Saatva about a year ago and really like it. Its a firmer mattress than I was used to and it took 10 days or so to adjust but after that adjustment period I really like it....

re: Anyone have a Puffy brand mattress? - marinebioman
It took me about a week to adjust to the new mattress. I think it was because the old one was so worn out and this one is pretty firm...but once I adjusted I loved it!...

re: Prime Day Thread - marinebioman
I am trying to decide between the iRobot Roomba 671 for $229.99 vs. the ECOVACS DEEBOT N79S for $169.98 vs. the ILIFE A6 for $210.99. The DEEBOT is by far the "best dea;" in terms of marked down price (original $300) unless Amazon is lying about its regular price. Actually it looks like the A6...

re: Trucks and garage space - marinebioman
We built a house less than 4 years ago and had no idea that the garage in the plans could not accommodate a full size truck depth-wise. I found that out the hard way when I bought my Tundra and tried to put it in the garage last year when a hurricane was threatening and it was a couple inches too s...

re: Termite Bond/Protection - marinebioman
My parents are having bad issues with termites right now and to the best of my knowledge after researching it for them, a termite bond does not cover damages unless it specifically states it in the contract. I think many if not most bonds simply cover annual inspections/treatments and unlimited tre...

re: Changing Boat Motor/Gear Oil: Do It Yourself or Send it to the Shop? - marinebioman
You may see a little sheen when you first put her in the water just from oil that may still be on the outside of the motor...I would check once you get back to the dock on your first day if you see any sheen. But it sounds like you are in top of things, it was just my .02 ...

re: Changing Boat Motor/Gear Oil: Do It Yourself or Send it to the Shop? - marinebioman
I'm not sure if all motors have them but Yamaha's have a little "paper" washer for each of the two lower unit bolts that they recommend replacing with each change. At the least just make sure they didnt fall off unknowingly when you took the bolts out because they are important....
