Agree. If think Laffy sees 70 mph winds, but more sustained.

Rds/Duke any chance a special advisory comes out after the second plane runs through?

They'll do a special advisory if they decide to bump the winds up.

And extrapolated pressure is lower once again. Down to 937.4-hPa so strengthening continues. Ugh.

Very sobering sitting here with my brother who knows his life is about to be turned upside down for a while. They live on Prien Lake. Built a house there about a year ago. Thinking of all of y'all in the path of this freight train.

Because computer models are unreliable on intensity forecasting. But anyone who followed this storm the past week knew it was going to be bad because of the conditions in the gulf. Not just that the trend was every advisory they kept upping the intensity levels.

When is official landfall? Around midnight or so? Also, did you say earlier you're getting storms in DFW?

JBE will fearmonger you into saying this storm should be a Cat 6 if it meant getting him more federal money for his own pockets.

It’s so great to see people like yourself using this forthcoming tragedy to make a political point. You’re a bottom feeder, the lowest of scum.

A 300x105' derrick barge. Yeah we have a handful of essential people on it. It can take this no issue but it will be a wild night.

When tied up in the river, one of the safest places to be in a storm. A giant floating steel fortress.

Levi warned people of this since this thing was over Cuba. Too bad 99% of the population doesn't turn to YouTube for their hurricane info.

Was pretty desolate this morning when I left. I was told i10 got fairly busy after I left, so hoping those remaining wised up and got out.
