Maurice is fine now on its current track. The power is going to go out but you've got generators and make sure there's not a falling tree threat. Keep an eye on the track.

Gotcha. You’ll be fine. Y’all on the Hwy 70 side or 4 Mile Bayou side?

Moving 20 miles East is a big difference from moving to vermillion bay like multiple posters were claiming

Slack, go look at the 4 am cone and look at it’s current position. These meteorologist move the goalpost more than JBE

I know where it is. I'm laughing at you saying it has to stop going north quickly or else it won't make the state line.

Want to see something really freaky? Look at where the center is now vs where it was last night. Draw a straight line and see where that heading takes it...

Well. If you live in Cameron or Calcasieu, she’s going to PIIYB.

When the eye of Laura finally clears out, it is going to be massive. (The eye itself, not the storm)

It really is. It should make for some great eye video. Unfortunately, it means bigger impacts.

Eh, not really. Just means impacts a bit further away from the center. It can also tighten up, as it’s forecast to do.
