Towards the Airport in the western side of Mobile.
Glad you made it! Hope there is minimal damage.
Thanks so far seems like we dodged several bullets. Friends on Dog River definitely took a shot though....
Just rode it out in Mobile, AL in our bathtub. I've never had my house shake like that before. ...
ULL barely beat South Alabama by 2. As someone that has been to multiple South Alabama games, this is laughable. ULL might score their first touchdown in the series vs LSU, sure, but it would take a really absurd game for them to win. ...
Are you Joe Hollis or Joe Moore? frick both, for the record.
Amazing how this seemed like a good enough of an idea to post here on an alt with a handle that gives a first name and way to identify your realtor listings. Especially since remax makes it so easy to search their agents a...
It confused me too the first time I went down to Algiers, but the confusion is only because the river makes that S-curve around NOLA. The river is the divider between west and east bank between the two areas. If you think of it as a reference to which riverbank the area occupies, it becomes more cle...
Yea, Laura had reports of higher winds and is still cat 4 after being thoroughly examined in the off season. ...
the HTV10 just lost a feed as a roof ripped off of a building it was looking at.. right as they were saying the eye wall was coming in. Holy shite...
There was always potential for rapid intensification. They predicted a major hurricane over a day in advance. There are too many factors that could prevent a storm from reaching this intensity, why would the try to predict a cat 5 with 170 930mb only to have it cause a panic and the storm stalls out...

Download Waze app and check there. You could have gone Dauphin Island and then the ferry but I highly doubt thats a better choice currently. Routes skirting north are the only way. If you can exit before exit 10 and go through West Mobile to the north, that'd get you around much of it....
She needs to be humbled. Let her figure the shite out on her own. You are already friend zoned
Just made it to BR. Should I turn around you think? What’s my next move. ...
No gas off of i10 near Hammond. Having to look a good ways off the interstate now. ...
If it means I can sleep in my own bed sprawled out comfortably across the entire bed, that could potentially be solid trade for a night. ...
Way worse than that. My girl is at home sleeping. I’m doing this for our friend just because we don’t want her stranded without power. The real pay off will be getting to cook a gumbo and be told how good it tastes ...
Have a friend in BR working on her post-doc at LSU who has no vehicle. Told her about power outages with gustav and the potential for a repeat with Ida. Offered to bring her and her pup back to our house if she wanted and she started packing immediately. Heading back to Mobile from BR after. ...
Absolutely zero cops on i10 heading west to BR so far. Scary how empty the road is...
Roger that. Worst case, I get to BR and she is still sleeping and I have to wait for her to get ready to leave. But at least I’d avoid as many slow downs as possible. ...
Think I’ll be able to drive into BR in a few hours from Mobile to evacuate a friend? Cause that’s what I’ll be trying to do. Just debating if I should leave now or in 4 hours after trying to sleep. ...
I've got tools and a couple teen horse girls
Only in a weather thread...
Southdowns next to the lakes is slowing finally. Winds are gusting though. ...
That’s where I was during the ‘16 floods you should be good unless you are at the bottom of the hill that Webb park neighborhood is on. ...
