poleward outflow.

How is this significantly different over the normal outflow?

Outflow channels are how the system gets vented. It's an important process that is required for a strengthening cyclone. Often times, RI is associated with dual outflow channels (north & south in this case).

I mean is that really it?

They typically can stretch out and really vent the storm. It'll just be a good outflow channel. Two good ones typically give you stronger storms.

Are you saying the eastern half of the CONE that the track is within, or further east than the cone even?

Huge difference. If you're saying the eastern half within the current cone, your prediction isn't too crazy as the NHC agrees with you that this is possible.

One of the GOAT hurricane chasers. I still think Chevrolet missed an opportunity to put his old Tahoe in a commercial. That Tahoe saw some wild stuff and traveled a long way.

He has practically been begging Verizon to sponsor him lately, too. He loves their network for some reason.

Very tall thunderstorms. They’re forming around the center now, indicating that Laura is strengthening.

Hot Tower:

There's the met definition that the pros here will be able give you but I look at them like Hurricane Farts that signify intensification.

This is an understandable assumption given the fact the NHC produces a cone, but it’s one of the main reasons I hate the cone so much. It has absolutely zero to do with the current track confidence, yet most believe that’s what it’s showing.

Starting to feel like this could be a bad one. The ones with names that sound like really bitchy white women are always the worst.
