So I booked two rooms in Alexandria. Someone here tell me that was a good move.

Give me some confidence!

The only other scenario was Dallas with family... Wasn't sure if I could get back if needed to my home.

12z models about to run. The 06z Euro EPS didn't show a single Louisiana landfall. Now to see if any other models trend in that direction.

*Yawns*

I've got to stop staying up for all the 00z runs.

I imagine we'll get some winds and rain here in Ellick... but if your main concern is storm surge... there won't be any of that here in Ellick

12z spaghetti models are out. Not much change. Honing in on border landfall still.

i mean, new orleans seems like a better option as the forecast is simply only for rain showers tomorrow. and im sure there are plenty of decent hotels available now for good prices considering...everything.

The Marco forecast was an abortion from the start.

It scared people in New Orleans and isn't that what it's really all about anyway?

Another good bingo addition.

And no. Not even close to the longest hurricane thread. I think the Irma thread went over 1500 pages

So with the track shift west, looks like Lafayette is now out of the cone, would it be worth heading to BR or further east? Don't really feel like going but I'm not sure the fam and I should stay. Will it continue to track west and get further away? What can we expect to see in Lafayette? Besides a bunch of New Iberia haircuts and truck nuts

Can we keep these weather threads a little more on the serious side?

Any chance this shifts east, or will any future shifts be western? I know nothing is a given.
