That is bullshite. When was the last time any French gun fired 6 shots before surrendering?

This "joke" needs to go away. They got taken by surprise in ONE war and for some reason that has forever turned them into surrender monkeys even though they have fricked people up all over the world for hundreds of years.

french military history isnt wonderful post napoleon save ww1 but that alone should save their reputation. what they did in that war and what they as a people went through was historical. only matched by the soviets in ww2

None of those countries have the ability to project power

we are the only country in the world who can legitimately project power and its been that way since the british and french empires collapsed post ww2

theres a reason why every war scenario with china is purely centered around taiwan and/or the first island chain as oppose to the west or east coast

general consensus among Western observers that the Russian military lacked the combat power in the region to execute the operation

There was a news report up for a few hours on the 25th by a Russian news source (taken down claiming to be hacked) that put killed action at about 15k, wounded at 2.5x the killed, or about 37k, and about 7500 missing in action. That puts combat power down about 60,000 troops, about 33% of the full commitment by Russia. I’m no military scholar, but if they have casualties around a third of the entire force, they are significantly weakened.

France has endured some shite, especially at the hands of the Germans (1870-71 and 1914-18)… they’re the first national to fully embrace national mobilization to fight a war (levee on masse/ war of the first coalition)… the French invented modern war… they gave common citizens guns when the monarchies of Europe were scared shitless to do it. That changed the game forever.

Sure their record isn’t spotless but the point is they aren’t cowards who lay down in the fetal position the moment they are threatened.

i was ultimately agreeing with you. what they did in ww1 alone should save their reputation

not to mention the free french fighters had legitimate success in both occupied france and africa in ww2

How much was RU Paul paid to chew on and spit out that horseshite? What a fricking embarrassment. MSNBC needs to keep their fricking mouths shut as well. Those bastards help scuttle the original MIGs deal from Poland. Other than above good day for Ukraine yesterday RU is creating it’s own oil embargo, not sure why but it fricks some allies in the region hard.

I'll take this over 20 pages of people arguing about politics or getting baited by trolls.

Russia can project power if nobody fights back and if its tugs can keep its aircraft carrier moving fast enough to launch planes.

Don't forget you have to keep the roads clear for their tanks since they can't go off-road without getting stuck or captured by John Deere.
