Better ways to false flag, thats a ton of infrastructure it will take the Russians months to replace.
Ukrainians are all over Russia so 1 off sabotage is probably a reality the longer this goes on.

Starting a 12h+ long oil fire false flag attack seems pretty stupid.

Sure just gas some peasants like Syria. Plus those were two big booms.

It certainly doesn't make sense to me either, but very Russian decisions in this war have. The "small explosive devices" could easily just be where the tank came apart.
Some bizarre stuff going on today..

Not buying it.

A couple of the open-source int's are attributing the fires to Bayraktars and 2 UAV's were reported downed by Russia in their territory.

What makes this interesting though is who is behind the dumb false flag claims?
Is it really to russias benefit to spread disinformation that they’re blowing up their own plants?
Seems more likely this is from the Ukraine side as some strange attempt at opsec.

The Ukrainians have been disrupting Russian trains which are transporting troops and supplies.

Things are going badly for Vlad. I predict a tactical nuke by the end of the week.

As in singular? A tactical nuke? By definition they are small. If he's going to defeat Ukraine he's going to need at least more than a few. He won't do it.

I'm no war expert but that seems like it'd be a really bad idea.

Even a potato would know that's a bad idea. You want NATO to obliterate your military? Because that's how you get NATO to obliterate your military.

I don't see any NATO countries putting themselves in direct confrontation with a hostile nuclear power already at war on their doorstep.
Russia's military will not be "obliterated" unless or until it exhausts its conventional nuclear arsenal. It would be silly to think otherwise.

They will if Putin starts using tactical nukes, which is why he won't.
He may be crazy, but he's not stupid.
Even tactical nuclear weapons create the possibility of drifting fallout in to neighboring countries. That will not be tolerated.

Slava Ukraine! These guys are amazing

The NATO countries are neither crazy nor stupid.
They will not risk their continued existence based on Russian use of tactical nukes on foreign soil.

Explosions reported in the separatist region in Moldova.

Now this I could see as a false flag as only windows and doors were "injured" and Ukraine has nothing to gain by attacking them. Russia, on the other hand, could setup a false flag and drag them into the war to open up another front, which is why I could see this being Russia's doing and not Ukraine.

Did you miss the part about fallout risk?
