Seems an important clarification

quote:

BREAKING: The US has stopped sharing intelligence with Ukraine that could be used to launch attacks inside Russia, a Ukrainian source has told Sky News.
But the source said that American intelligence-sharing has not halted completely.
The source described the move as “selective”, indicating that this meant US intelligence would still be shared with Ukraine that could be used to attack Russian forces on Russian-occupied Ukrainian territory.
Asked whether it is correct that the US has stopped sharing intelligence, the source said: “Unfortunately, yes, but not completely. It is selective. On the possibility of damage on the territory of the Russian Federation”
The move is another blow for Kyiv after Donald Trump decided to pause all military aid to Ukraine following a bust-up with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the White House

So, in your view, removing voting rights from a member country promotes democracy?

Very important.

The broad headline is intentionally vague to make Trump look bad.

Good catch, I just don't believe it. It doesn't fit the goal of increasing pressure on Kyiv to surrender to the mineral rights grab. It's also unverifiable and certainly not what Putin would want. Just more damage control from the GOP.

However, intelligence operatives at every level have a long history of 'independent action'. After being screened at hire for flexible morality and extensively trained on breaking rules and working in such an atmosphere every day, many turn rogue to different degree. 'What they don't know...' Especially when they are convinced their civilian administrators are clueless pussies or even traitors to the interest of the US. Trump and Vance check both of those boxes.

You're not going to end relationships with the UKR intelligence built up over three years like you would turn off a light switch. I am thinking the Russians are still in for many nasty surprises. In Russia and out. Plus, the FSB is still full of infighting backstabbers who owe nothing to Putin. Remember Hostomel?

Very little intelligence is 100% full picture and accurate. The loss of any US sources may prove to be not a loss of primary intelligence, but a loss of a verifying source of non-US intelligence. I mean, think about it - who's actually on the ground and who's sitting at a desk in Langley?

Satellites? There are numerous commercial satellite feeds available as well as non-US NATO birds.

Politically, this is another huge mistake by Trump, thus this 'selective sharing' PR leak designed to minimize blame on the traitor. But it won't be nearly as damaging to Ukraine as the suspension of US armaments or resulting finger-pointing towards Trump. Just another stupid mistake.

Brother, you can turn the tide. Ukraine would love to have your assistance. I think that with your enthusiasm and expertise, you could bring a great asset. Don't procrastinate, your work here in the states is done.

Can you imagine if Cope and Lunatic Keith watched last night? They would have made Al Green look sane.

I think the basis for the selective intelligence sharing leak is from a large number of phone calls from GOP Congressmen / women that have to run in 2026 and are absolutely panicked at what the traitors in the White House are doing to them. We will probably see a long line of post facto excuses and lies such as this going forward to soften the fact that the GOP US President is taking orders from Russia now.

After the US, Germany has also stopped the delivery of weapons to Ukraine, but not because it wants to but because their weapons are at a critical level

German Defense Ministry

"Germany has reached the limit of its ability to transfer weapons from its arsenals to Ukraine"

Where else do we see misleading headlines?

I’m interested to see what happens the rest of the week now that it seems Z is back on the reservation.

2-3 days ago the Zelenskyites were bragging about the Europeans standing up. Cope told us Taurus was on the way. "Mr. Putin.. Taurus on line one." The AfD not winning would prevent German aid from being cutoff.

Hmmmmm.

Someone needs to tell the Europeans that you can't shoot promises and delusion out of a cannon.

Reality is sometimes a bitch.
