Europe has nothing to contribute except IOUs and virtue signals. The Ukrainians need bodies, not meaningless social media posts about solidarity. Outside of bodies, guns and money won't stop Russia; the past 3 years has shown that.

Trump is painting himself and the GOP into an indefensible corner. As I said last week, every time he speaks into a microphone, he costs the GOP 5,000 votes in 2026. That may be understated due to what he is saying into those microphones now.
Cutting all aid to Ukraine is a huge boost to our principle enemy and threat for the last eight decades, but it can be justified to the mouth breathers as saving tax dollars.
However, suspending the Pentagon's cyber offensive against Russia doesn't save any tax dollars. Nor does cutting all intelligence feed to the Ukrainians. Doesn't save a nickle. How will the White House traitor justify either of these orders? When is Trump going to start dropping the pretense and start talking about Putin as America's misunderstood friend?

Zelensky needs to sign that mineral deal and he needs to do it now. Stay in Ukraine and let Kellogg be your intermediary between he and Trump. Europe is talking a big game but look at Germany. They can’t send anything because they don’t have shite left, same with the UK. There is no other option left for him and he knows it from the statement he sent out after the White House blowup. I hate Putin and hope he dies a slow death one day for what he did to Ukraine but this needs to end, even if it’s just a ceasefire.

In WWII Stalin called on all Russians to stop the Nazi invaders. Ordinary Russians fought, were maimed, and died answering the call. Still today the ordinary Russian receives respect and admiration for thd sacrifices they made and the defeat of the Nazis.
With the hated Russians occupying a large part of their nation and pouring more missiles, weapons and men into Ukraine to take more of the land why would Ukrainians not fight just as hard as the Russians did in WWII.
After all millions must have relatives that were starved to death by Russia. Millions do not want to be Russians. Why should they not fight?

He arrived in the White House Friday after weeks of negotiation, ready to sign. But needed the security guarantee. As we all know now, there was no security guarantee and was never going to be one. Trump lied.
What makes you think this changes by signing it now? Trump is still lying. It's not a mineral deal, it's a mineral robbery.
If I were Zelensky, I would demand US armaments in return for partial mineral rights deals. $250 million in arms of Ukraine's choice and paid for by Ukraine - nothing free - for $250 million worth of contracted mineral rights. After delivery, another $250 million swap. And another after that. Everyone gets what they want on the time schedule they want.
But that's not going to happen because Putin will tell Trump no. We all know that.
