So you can't even defend your own points, you have to point to someone else's comment that isn't even that good of a point?
I actually laid out why China's approach is actually pretty smart because they are addressing their weak points and have the opportunity to turn at least the energy point into a strength. The food issue another poster brought up is actually pretty easily explainable and being addressed as well.
People who think China is just some run of the mill, copy-paste communist country just like the USSR are fricking kidding themselves, and I hope they aren't in any kind of government or educational position where they could possibly influence anyone else.

Welcome to team globohomo, Moldova. Your grandkids will now be half African and / or LGBTQ+ at a 30% clip (perhaps higher) within 40 years. Plus you'll have $6 Frappuccinos and a legit Apple store. Congrats.
What's wrong with being half-African, or LGBTQ?

In 1940/41/42 when we single handedly kept them alive via material and food so they could fight back against the German invasion.
That was probably a mistake, but the Roosevelt Administration had a lot communists in it. Might have been better to let Germany exhaust itself like a python trying to swallow an elephant.
It was a necessary "mistake"... the Germans were so powerful we needed a war on two fronts to overcome them. It was a deal with the Devil, and after Stalingrad we knew what we had signed up for...

On a case by case basis? Nothing.
When it's 30% of a country? The country is forever changed and loses its culture.

ISW Update Oct 22nd

Key Takeaways:
Ukrainian forces conducted a series of drone strikes on the night of October 21 to 22 targeting distilleries in Russia that reportedly manufacture products for the Russian military.
South Korea may be considering directly sending weapons and intelligence personnel to Ukraine in response to the reported deployment of North Korean troops to Russia to participate in Russia's war in Ukraine.
Thirty-six world leaders, including from the People’s Republic of China (PRC), India, South Africa, and Iran, arrived in Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan, for the 16th annual BRICS summit held from October 22 to 24 during which Russia will likely seek to establish mechanisms to enhance its war effort in Ukraine.
A recent Russian opinion poll suggests that Russian President Vladimir Putin enjoys widespread support among Russian citizens even though many do not agree with some of the Kremlin's policies, including about the war.
Russian forces recently advanced in Kursk Oblast and near Kurakhove and Vuhledar.
Russian forces conducted multilateral military exercises with international partners. Iran hosted Russian and Omani naval forces as part of the "IMEX 2024" naval drills, which took place between October 19-20 in the Indian Ocean.

British Defence Intelligence
UPDATE ON UKRAINE
23 October 2024
INTELLIGENCE UPDATE
During September 2024 Russia launched over 1,300 One Way Attack Uncrewed Aerial Vehicles (OWA-UAVs) into Ukraine. This represents the highest number of OWA-UAVs launched in a month since the start of the conflict. Based on current rates it is almost certain that Russia will surpass that number in October 2024.
It is unclear whether Russia can sustain this rate through the remainder of 2024. However, Russia is almost certainly expanding its capacity to conduct large scale OWA-UAV attacks against Ukraine, supplementing Iranian supply with increasing domestic production.
Russia utilises its OWA UAVS against a multitude of targets, particularly energy infrastructure, given their ability to strike deep into Ukrainian territory, maintaining pressure on the Ukrainian Air Defence system.

North Korean troops are in Russia, US defense secretary confirms
by Kateryna Denisova October 23, 2024 1:41 PM
There is evidence that North Korean troops are in Russia, U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said in Rome on Oct. 23, Reuters reported.
Austin's comment comes as the first public confirmation by the U.S. of previous statements by Ukraine and South Korea. The two nations say Russia is planning to involve thousands of North Korean troops in its full-scale war.
"There is evidence that there are DPRK (North Korean) troops in Russia. What exactly they are doing? Left to be seen. These are things that we need to sort out," the Pentagon chief said.
Austin did not specify the number of North Korean troops that had arrived in Russia.

Is this the Russians as ethnic mongols you lunatics rant about?
The Russians have the same level of admixture as the Ukrainians. There isn’t any. The asiatic looking Russians have roots in northern Russia and it’s the influence of Finnish or Sami genetics.

When I talk about Russians, I talk about the leadership. Those lying, scheming bastards who do all they can to enrich themselves and keep power.
I don’t speak of the Russian people. They may go to church every day, but it doesn’t matter. They don’t have any say so except when they finally get fed up and decide to revolt.
