I don't have to. CNN put the word out all day and that's what you ran with all day.

Seems like you're quite engaged in some wish casting yourself. Glad to see you're exactly like what you pretend to hate.

General Valery Gerasmov, 67, has been purged as Russian conflict commander

UK Daily Mail reporting Gerasmov is out.

We have lots of C-130s but not many AC-130 gunships. Even if we had plenty to send though they have to fly low and slow in a pylon turn (a big circle) above the battlefield when it engages the enemy. With the amount of air defenses covering the front lines they wouldn’t stand a chance. It’s a great weapon to have for troops in contact but you have to own the sky to use them effectively.

Poland transferred 10 of its Mi-24 Hind attack helicopters to Ukraine in secret recently. Makes you wonder how much else they have received from Poland and other countries under the table. That’s the way it should be if at all possible. Why give the Russians a bulleted list of the weapons headed into Ukraine? Some things are unavoidable from becoming public knowledge but the hat you can send in secret should be sent in that manner.

They would be easy prey for a variety of anti-air missiles.

US Armed Forces - unlike Russia - are deployed in Syria contrary to international law

All of a sudden, the Russians care about "international law"?

Not much happens in the former Soviet sphere the Russians don't know about, this was no "secret" to anyone.

This is to prevent famine in the ME and Pakistan which Turkey would have to help pay for along with the Saudi's more than anything else, they would rather get the grain out than have to buy it on the open market and give it away.

Finland and Italy have basically not said anything about what they are giving. Italy confirmed the SAMP air defense system that it donated in conjunction with France, and Finland acknowledged the Leopard 2 tanks as part of that tank coalition, but they've both stayed mum about everything else. As you say, though, when a train full of SPGs leaves Italy, it's not hard for people to figure out where it's headed.

Except for that whole top brass not knowing their military had become a hollowed out shell due to decades of graft and corruption sure... they're on top of it all.

Actually wheat farmers everywhere (other than in Ukraine) would benefit from Russia blocking the wheat shipments. It's the consumer who benefits from the shipments continuing.

Whether this makes it out or not is not what is going to move wheat prices, that is being driven by the amount of acres previously allocated for wheat that have not been planted this year in Ukraine and Russia.

The ships getting out will take some pressure off for a few months but come spring the world will have a shortage of both wheat and corn.

Turks own many of the crushing plants in not only Ukraine but Russia for corn, soybeans, and sunflower seeds. Oil is used for cooking while the meal is used in livestock feed.

Sunflower oil is the preferred cooking oil in many places.

Turkish ships are NATO ships so there is that. FAFO Putin

Turks are inscrutable (at least to me).
I understood Putin helped Erdogan in his re-election bid, and the US did not.
NOw, with that over, Erdogan seems to be turning a bit, or least asserting vigorous independence from Ruskies...
