Russia’s representative at the UN says “Ukrainian biolabs” are developing “combat mosquitoes”, to carry deadly diseases.

I would never claim to "actually know what's going on" but I can help with the trouble you're having in visually identifying the differences between two photos. Here you see both images as separate layers, using the "difference" blend mode to highlight the areas that have changed between the two. The green areas show territory lost by the Russians in the last three months.

Ukraine has liberated thousands of square kilometers in the Kharkiv and northern Luhansk oblast since 9/1/22.

It's helpful to remember that Ukraine is big for a European country and overlaying on the US can give you context for sizes of area contested.

Do it right.
Post 9 maps beginning with February. Post each map starting with Feb 24th, March 24th, April 24th, etc. and stop at October 24th.

Believe me there are changes.

This is a long form video (1 hr) about the corruption in the Russian military and how corruption destroys armies.

YT

It does have chapters so you can bounce around.

He has a lot of other long-form videos about specific topics in the Ukraine war. Some of it is rather rudimentary for most here but he tries to start with the very basics even if it talks under most people.

Ukraine has been making steady progress in the East. The good people of Svatove should only have to endure occupation for another 7-10 days. And then Ukraine will work east and eventually cut off the remaining Russian forces in Kreminna, Lysychansk, and Severodonetsk.

None of northern Luhansk Oblast is defensible for Russia. Ukraine is probably going to take all of that by the end of the year.

In Kherson, the weather has been bad. But the 10-day forecast on weather.com shows three days with a 24% chance of rain, and odds lower than that every other day.

As winter approaches, the opportunities for a big offensive will start to lessen. I'm hopeful for another big Ukrainian advance soon.

One thing I saw in a video about the Wagner defensive line they are building I thought was interesting. They have prebuilt concrete covers for fighting positions they were moving in. I didn't screen cap it but they look like a large piece of culvert a few feet long with a conical top. They just dig a round fighting position connected to their trenchworks and then the "roof" is set over it. I have no idea what it can and can't stop munitions-wise but it beats the hell out of logs though it sticks out like a sore thumb which like a pillbox draws fire.

I can't imagine digging in like this to sit and wait, would much rather be runnin' and gunnin', but it seems like it would be effective in a lot of situations.

This is stupid but when I was typing this I was singing in my head:

"Your own personal pillbox"

"something to save your hairs"

"something that cares"

to the tune of Depeche Mode's Personal Jesus.

It has been literally an uphill battle for Ukraine in the east if you look at actual terrain. A series of small valleys and hills in a north/south direction. Making a breakthrough shows how weak Russia actually is

Well yeah.

He's one of those few who are rooting for Russia because he desires that style of government and social norms.

Russia are masculine and have the right sense of morals, how is it a little country like Ukraine with the help of the effeminate and degenerate west be able to slow down the good masculine Christians of Russia?
