According to Pro-Russian claims the Ukrainian Army has broken through the Northern defense line near Svatove & are deep into Russian-controlled territory. According to the same sources the first Ukrainian spearheads are near Nyzhnia Duvanka, much deeper than this map.
Is this the start of the next Ukrainian breakthrough? Russia better get those 60 year old tanks and untrained reserves to the Donbas fast or they won’t be any Russians in the Donbas by Orthodox Christmas.

Updated War Map. Can anyone point out what has changed
The Kyiv Oblast is completely yellow now. It was half yellow and half red in March. The Kharkiv oblast is completely yellow. It was 75% red back in March and April. The 25% of the Luhansk oblast is yellow it was 100% red in July and August. The Ukrainians are liberating more and more of the Luhansk oblast every day. It may be as little as 5-10km/day but it’s a steady grind which may have turned into another breakthrough as I type this.
To sum it up another way. Russia controlled 12% of pre 2014 Ukrainian territory on 2/23/22. They controlled roughly 25% of Ukrainian territory at their high water mark in late March. Today they are down to around 15% and it’s decreasing by the day.

The NE and SW are substantially different. look around kharkiv, like 30%+ of that front is rolled back.
I'll also mention, I obviously realize you're not sincere, just answering a dumb question with a dumb answer.

I did. There is no change in color North of Kherson from the July map from the one posted today
And to the right of Kharkiv the map looks more red than in July
So does that mean Russian gains in those areas?

Use the river east of Kharkiv and the other river southeast of Kharkiv as reference points. Look where the red territory is in comparison to those rivers in July and then again in the October map. There is a stark and substantial difference.

This is probably the most obvious change on the map, how can you say that with a straight face?

Look in the upper right at the red. Territory larger than Connecticut has been changed from red to yellow. And more of that changes each day.

In the North near Kharkiv is the only place where Ukraine has been significantly successful. In the south near Kherson and in the east the counteroffensive has been rather underwhelming.
