That’s impressive. Maybe more glass bottles should be sent to help. Wow.

The people have been throwing molotov cocktails the whole time. Ukranian military put out graphics showing how to attack a tank with molotov cocktails.

No, if we cut them off from SWIFT, it could cause an international movement to move away from the dollar as an international currency. If that happens, the dollar essentially tanks and we're all eating rice and beans.

I am curious about this theory but will need more details. How will cutting off dollars from flowing into Russia and rubles from getting out of Russia tank the dollar?

BBC was showing civilians in Dnipro (Russian speaking Ukrainians) making Molotov cocktails from styrofoam and gasoline with cheese graters.

As bad as it sounds, and if you have it, snapchat maps has live stories from actual people in the region. Gives somewhat of a realistic perspective

Yeah, but where would the Chinese stop? At the western Russian border? Or once it gets through to the Atlantic Ocean?

There is a ton of stuff that I have seen that is from 2014. (e.g. There are photos of rockets and shelling sticking out of the ground from that revolution)

Take everything with a grain of salt unless it's independently verified. Even with the Media, there are information campaigns on-going.

Everything is muddy and everything shouldn't be FACT until proven otherwise.

Any fighting vids from night time likely aren't from this invasion because Russia, apparently, can't really do much at night this time

Yep. France warned them and begged them not to move away from nuclear power. Honestly France is in one of the best positions here on the whole.

[The Guardian] - Russian troops have destroyed a concrete dam in Ukraine, Reuters reports.

quote:

Forces destroyed a dam built in Ukraine’s Kherson Region in 2014 to cut off water to Crimea, the RIA news agency quoted the governor of Russian-annexed Crimea Sergei Aksyonov as saying on Saturday.

Reuters reports the details from Moscow:

Ukraine cut off the fresh water supply to Crimea by damming a canal that had supplied 85% of the peninsula’s needs before Moscow annexed Crimea in 2014.

The Soviet-era canal was built to channel water from the River Dnieper to arid areas of Ukraine’s Kherson region and Crimea.
