As bad as it sounds, and if you have it, snapchat maps has live stories from actual people in the region. Gives somewhat of a realistic perspective

Take everything with a grain of salt unless it's independently verified. Even with the Media, there are information campaigns on-going.
Everything is muddy and everything shouldn't be FACT until proven otherwise.

[The Guardian] - Russian troops have destroyed a concrete dam in Ukraine, Reuters reports.
