Literally the same issue on Russian side.

You must be reading Western media because LW, Stidham and Palmeto’s sources say Russia doesn’t lose well trained soldiers, is extremely cautious, and things are going as planned. In fact for weeks now the entire Eastern front is collapsing and Ukrsinevis in full retreat.

Are you missing the part where ISW has to Zoom out now because of how much land Russia has taken in the East? They don't show a close up any longer because it would mostly all be red for the areas the Russians hold.

Mariupol fell 6 weeks after this and it's been basically 2 months of major battles.

The Ukranians sheltered in a soviet era bunker for a month and a half. The city fell long before that.

The delusional crowd is now comforting themselves with a new ZOOMED OUT picture of the front because the zoomed in one is now all full of red.

Lmao. Tell yourself what yever you want. You are denial if you think Putin launched this war to capture fricking Severodonetsk after three+ months. He wanted Odessa and Kyiv not some cow pasture you've never heard of until May.

Ukraine is completely crippled economically without Donbas and the naval blockade of what little remaining shoreline they have.

Ukraine is going to fall. It's a matter of when.

Donbass represented less than 10% of Ukraine's GDP. Why did Ukraine's GDP grow after the loss of that area?

Loss of the area? They're in the process of losing it as we speak.

After 2014, the Russians occupied a portion of Donbass, and annexed Crimea. My question again is why did Ukraine's GDP grow after 2014? Be specific for once.

So roughly the same percentage that Russias GDP is expected to contract (7.8%)?

Have you not been following the war at all? Russia's frontline is in the middle of Donbas as we speak with a lot of territory to still capture. Separatists held a small portion of the regions in the far east near Russia's border.

Once Donbas falls plus the naval blockade, they're finished.

The separatists controlled 50% of Luhansk and 7,000 sq Km of Donetsk Oblast, but controlled the 3 of the 4 largest cities in that Oblast before 2022. So again, why did the Ukrainian GDP grow, despite this loss?

Since I know you likely won't answer this question, the major administrative subdivisions by gross regional product in Ukraine are Kyiv, which produces 30 billion euros, Dnipropetrovsk, which produces 12.4 billion euros, Kharkiv, which produces 7.8 billion euros, Kyiv Oblast, which produces 6.9 billion euros, and Lyiv Oblast, which produces 6.8 billion euros. Kyiv the city is not part of the Kyiv Oblast. Donestk comes in at 6th, with a GRP of 6.5 billion euros.

So it seems like all your hopes and dreams of a 'finished' Ukraine rest on a blockade? Because the key economic driver of Ukraine is Kyiv, not the Donbass, as resource-rich as it is. And Kyiv itself is more likely to be connected to Europe at large, not less likely, after this war, which should increase foreign direct investment, especially if Ukraine joins the EU.
