Think back to high school. Do you remember the group of kids that ate lunch together that made no sense? The reality was they sat together because they didn't fit in with any of the other established groups. The needs for alliance often outweigh all the usual connections for association.
True but generally two individuals who outright hated each other and fight from time to time (India & China) weren’t at the same table. India denied Pakistan’s invitation as a non-member so part of it still applies.

UPDATE ON UKRAINE 28 June 2022
INTELLIGENCE UPDATE
Ukrainian forces continue to consolidate their positions on higher ground in the city of Lyschansak, after falling back from Sieverodonetsk. Ukrainian forces continue to disrupt Russian command and control with successful strikes deep behind Russian lines.
Over 24-26 June, Russia launched unusually intense waves of strikes across Ukraine using long-range missiles. These weapons highly likely included the Soviet-era AS-4 KITCHEN and more modern AS-23a KODIAK missiles, fired from both Belarussian and Russian airspace.
These weapons were designed to take on targets of strategic importance, but Russia continues to expend them in large numbers for tactical advantage. Similarly, it fielded the core elements of six different armies yet achieved only tactical success at Sieverodonetsk. The Russian armed forces are increasingly hollowed out. They currently accept a level of degraded combat effectiveness, which is probably unsustainable in the long term.

Kremlin intensifies bombarding civilians: Missiles, rockets kill, maim Mykolaiv children
The Kremlin on Tuesday, June 28 doubled down in its campaign to demolish Ukrainian civilian homes and businesses far from the fighting lines, as it launched a wave of missile and rocket strikes against the southern port city of Mykolaiv.
Russian army ground force fired 220mm Uragan artillery rockets at Mykolaiv as well, said Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych in a statement. The barrage hit shortly after sunrise, he said. Kim said the Uragan strikes killed three Mykolaiv civilians and injured six. One of the dead was a six-year-old girl, and one of the injured, now in a coma, was a three-month old baby, Kim said.

As for "anyone who has been in Russia outside of major cities is pretty dirty", I see great progress among the "experts" in Russia. It's already good that there is no mention of bears, vodka and balalaika. Look at least on Google maps, there is the possibility of virtual travel through cities and roads. For example, I don’t write to you that “anyone who has traveled around the USA knows about drug-addicted areas around large cities and the whole USA is like that.” I was in the USA, I can say that this is not the case everywhere. Have you been to Russia or not, but do you know that?
This whole sub forum shvts on Louisiana and most US states on the regular lmao

It's terrorist. The Russian people are more than OK with it.
Ukraine's FM Dmytro Kuleba comments on Russians’ ‘cheerful’ reaction to Kremenchuk shopping mall atrocity
28 June, 02:50 PM
Following the missile strike, many Russians left comments on social networks praising the atrocity, while many called the incident a fake.
"Sickening to see Russian reactions to the Kremenchuk shopping mall strike," Kuleba tweeted on June 28.
"Ordinary Russians cheer on social media. Russian diplomats and officials spread insane conspiracy theories, denying that the strike even happened. Russia is a country of murderers and patent liars."

Might not be true republicans but it seemed Trump had developed a cult of personality edging close to it

And yet I see plenty of current mainstream Republicans arguing for a theocracy.

Brother, do you think the press reports in the US were only about victories? Because you would be completely wrong.

Damn. How did I miss that post.
Wow, comrade. You couldn't have missed the mark harder if you tried. Post 2003/2004 the news from Afghanistan was usually less than encouraging (intentional understatement) and was often completely negative. The withdrawal was a clusterfrick but almost no one in America thought it was going well over there.

And then bam!
A complete surprise, in reality everything is completely different and an urgent evacuation of the embassy by helicopter from the roof is already needed ......

Just to be fair, it could be that Ukraine is storing ammo or other military targets either in or very close to what Russia is hitting. I know this is what Russia claims and Ukraine claims the opposite, but of course both sides would claim this. So who knows what the truth is in regards to that.
I personally think that Russia just is sending rockets to terrorize the citizenry without care of what they hit, but that's just an opinion.

There is a large industrial facility next to the mall which appears to have been the Russian target. One missile missed and hit the mall.
Russian employed their sorta precision weapons

And a lot of others arguing for an authoritarian regime with a strong cult of personality? What republican front runner fits this theocracy agenda?

The Eastern Front has collapsed and Ukraine is in full retreat.

This. They have intelligence that weapons are being stored there.
Ukraine pumps out propaganda saying it’s a ‘peaceful’ shopping mall to gain sympathy.
