North east of Kharkiv Russians forces have launched a counteroffensive to recapture liberated territory. The offensive manged to recapture the towns of Ternova and Izybyts'ke.
I heard that in order to escape the shelling, the Izybyts'ke spider climbed up the waterspout.

Early reports so takes with a grain of salt

Russians now are fortifying the second and the third lines.

I'm guessing Lithuania's politicians will have to cancel all of their Russian vacations they had planned

Ukrainian Defense Ministry: 'Decisive battles' near Sievierodonetsk as Russia aims to reach borders of Luhansk Oblast by June 26.

According to Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maliar, Russia has gathered almost all its forces to storm the settlements near Sievierodonetsk, Luhansk Oblast.

Russians seek to break through Ukrainian forces' defenses and surround them.

“Our troops are doing everything possible to hold these territories and prevent the encirclement,” Maliar said as quoted by the Ukrainska Pravda media outlet.

Yeah I was about to say 350 km is a long way and we didn’t give them any missiles with that kind of reach. The HIMARS we did give them though should have no problem reaching Snake Island. I’ve always thought the real battle in this war was going to be for Odesa so it’s no real shock that the Ukrainians have put their most advanced weaponry in that area. Sending them a few of our older Predator drones would do a lot of good for them to be able to make precision strikes like on command and control centers while not taking away from our own stockpile of drones since we have retired the Predator from active service but still have over 100 that can be operational.

Do the Ukrainian fighter jets have the capability if carrying any anti ship missiles? If they can’t position AA batteries on the island, does that open up additional offensive options for Ukraine?

The concern in America about Putin’s feelings has been one of the most surprising and disappointing developments. I expect it from Europe but not over here. Our weak and scared posture has enabled him to push it this far. Crimea would still be Ukrainian if he knew we weren’t going to frick around with his BS.

Ukraine really doesn’t have a navy besides patrol boats for the coast but they do make the Neptune that sunk the Moskva and we have sent Harpoon systems that are mounted on trucks so they do have anti ship capability but the Russians have kept out of range for the most part since losing their fleet’s flagship of the area which if you ask Lima Whiskey he will tell you losing the Moskva was no big deal and it was antiquated. He is right in that it was antiquated but it was still the fleet’s flagship so what does that tell you about the rest of their fleet? It’s all old and not maintained like we do in our navy.

Luka is trying to walk a fine line. Getting involved in this clusterfrick is the last thing in the world he wants, but Putin is getting desperate and really putting the squeeze on him.

Ironically enough, Putin’s stupid arse might end up pushing Belarus to the West as well if he pushes too hard and causes a coup/revolution in Belarus. And this time he’s not exactly in a position to intervene there. Instead of opening a new front for Ukraine that would open up a new front for Russia.

Some master strategist.

Beyond the fact that the Russian army apparently cannot supply its troops with TP and Underwear, the bigger question is: Why is a Colonel the acting commander of an Army, that seems to be way above his paygrade?

Colonel Oleg Korotkevich, acting commander of the 41st Army, asks mayor of #Novosibirsk Anatoly Loktay to help collect humanitarian aid for #Russian soldiers in #Ukraine.

It turns out that the "superpower" cannot provide its army with underwear and toilet paper on its own.

The Russians can't even supply their troops with underwear; yet, we need to remain in NATO at the cost of hundreds of billions in perpetuity? It's high time Western Europe -who has the finances, population and technical expertise - footed the bill for their own defense.

That's rich when the Bolsheviks start complaining about anything illegal.

Oh the irony and hypocrisy.

Do you really think NATO is the reason our defense spending is so high?

Don't forget that Ukraine is the reason Ukraine can't export their grain since they could just go about demining Odessa and Russia would let them export and super pinky promise not to do anything

I'd like for the downvoters to give a detailed explanation for our continued presence in NATO.
