The ruts from the ztr’s would bother me. I have a 21” snapper commercial.

Sounds like to me you need to get off your lazy tail and take care of your yard work. No business is going to take pride in your yard YOU have to

Those big mowers put wagon trails around the yard.

I'm 62 and mow my yard and my moms, plus weed eat and clean the driveway with a blower. Good exercise and a feeling of doing something worth while.

Because in your neighborhood one guy gets his lawn mowed by a company and everyone follows suit. Have them go in different directions every cut, which they should be doing for wear patterns. Have them raise the height up 1/2" or 1". It's less stress on the grass anyway in the summer heat.

So you’re complaining about something while doing the same exact thing you’re complaining about??

My yard is 3 acres. I ain't push mowing that shite.

On an old snapper it took nearly 6 hours to cut. Takes an hour and a half on a 52" zero turn.

I cut my grass more often now that it doesnt take so long. Zero turns have improved my lawn.

Cut your own grass then. Some of the lawn services have to cut entire subdivisions in a day. They don’t have time to push mow.

I did go one summer cutting at 3.5 and could get decent stripes, but had to cut twice a week. Wasn’t worth it.

I bet your yard looked better that summer than it ever has. I cut my shite high and it has always looked great with minimal treatment. My neighbor scalps their yard and it looks like shite and they have a “lawn service”

Don't even care. I have other things to put my time and energy into. Time with my family means so much more than the patterns in my yard. Keep my grass cut, edge edged, weeds eaten, and my flower bed free of weeds and that's it.

I guarantee you that your lawn service is carrying your neighbors Virginia button weed over to your lawn. I do it myself.

You know you can just ask a lawn service to cut your grass taller.

I Bush Hog my yard twice a year whether it needs it or not. Then I use KillzAll to make a ring of death around the house. Maybe about 5 hours total. Thinking about getting goats.

I live on a dead end street with about maybe 18 houses on it. I'm the only one that push mows his own yard. One old Asian dude has a rider, but all the others have it hired out and they all use huge zero turns and they all have ruts compacted in their yards from the zero turns using the same path every time.
